My boyfriend and I were on a drive one quiet afternoon and I had been raving about the Glass House for a while, having visited last summer and was met with lovely food and service. So, we decided that we were going to head their for lunch. We had our little dog with us, so on route I thought it... More

This is a superb very unspoiled Country pub in a delightful location that over the years has been very tastefully extended. The food is good pub fayre which is homemade and represents good value for money. This is one pub you can go to and not see any noisy gaming machines, no loud music playing and thankfully no kids under... More

Loathes me to say how good it is, as that means you'll visit and then I may not get a seat! Fantastic local pub, if you don't visit you are foolish!

Went to the pub on a Saturday lunch time, service was quick and the menu had a good range of pub food along with some specials. The meal was good value and very nice! Portions were a fair size, needed to walk it off afterwards. A little disappointed at their only being one type of veg (peas) with the meals... More

We were staying in the cottages adjacent to the pub so a bit of a captive audience, but despite our holiday motto of not eating in the same place twice we had evening meals on three nights of our week long stay. Standard menu looked OK but we chose from the specials board and were not disappointed - reasonably priced... More

Worth the search, decent pub at long last. Lovely area, high up, garden you would want to sit in and a welcome as you enter. Friendly, good food at a good price. Oodles of character. And best of all no children in the bar, so nice to have a grown ups area. Been back a few times now we know... More

Ate here on a Wednesday evening. We sat in the beer garden as we had a child and a dog with us but it was very pleasant. The menu is just traditional pub food so nothing fancy or exceptional but the quality was decent. We got a basket meal, which was a smaller portion for the child with us. The... More

Expensive for what you get in all honesty, it's fairly basic fare at London prices. I had the 'Sea Bass' fillets which were very small served with a very basic salad and coleslaw costing £13.50 and my wife had a jumbo prawn sandwich costing £7. The sandwich wasn't well filled for the money and had margarine in it?! Is it... More
