Our visit to this bustling restaurant didn't fail to impress. Despite their website saying opening times were 18H on this occasion they opened at 19:30H, not an issue since we were staying about 200m away. The meat was beautifully displayed and my veal wonderfully cooked 'à point'. I was surprised at the huge portion sizes, very unexpected for France. Dessert... More

When entering this place, right near the front desk, you find a cooled showcase with 5 shelves of raw meat, mainly "cote de boeuf" So you know where you are and what the place is specialized in Starters, deserts, wine selection, staff, all is good there After that ,you just walk across the street, sit on a bench and digest in front of the Gulf of Marseille view

This place was closest to where we were staying, so naturally, we gave it a try first night when they were crowded and we hadn't booked. We sat in a small waiting area with an aperitif until a table became free. We sat on the terrace (we went back later in the week and the terrace was quite chilly, but... More

This restaurant serves excellent steak cooked in the pizza oven with embers from the oak fire. There is also a good choice of pizza's to choose from. However, if you want fish you'll need to go to another restaurant.

We have been coming to l'Hermitage for over 30 years and the food is still consistently good. Excellent pizza, good grilled meat and a lovely view over the sea, particularly when sitting on the terrace.

Don't understand why it's mostly packed here. Ate here on 3 occasions, won't never come back here. Completely overpriced Pizzaria, offering bad quality : black pizza, overcooked meat... the last time I was here I complained that my pizza was black and got snapped at...
