My husband and I went for Sunday Best Roast on the menu and had slow cooked lamb and beef and it was lovely and enjoyable to eat, including the desserts we had. Would highly recommend.

On Saturday I met up with a small group of friends. The lunchtime menu was very good. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Car park at the back.

I love the ambience of the Ashley and the staff were very friendly. We ordered a sharing starter and a main. Unfortunately our food came but only our main no starter. When we questioned this they did apologise and offered to get this, however as we had waited so long we agreed to just have the main. The restaurant wasn't... More

I visited the pub today for lunch with my sister, as soon as we walked in the staff made us feel extremely welcome, and it was a very homely atmosphere. Our server seated us and gave us excellent service and gave us all information needed such as specials, soup of the day etc. We opted for the lunch time menu... More

We have been here several times and always been greeted by very efficient & friendly staff. Unfortunately on our last visit last week this was not the case. After waiting several minutes I had to go and interrupt the 3/4 girls talking to ask for a menu. The order was eventually taken and the food was fine as usual. Then... More

I was disappointed my prawn cocktail uninspiring not seasoned and just plain ordinary. My gourmet chicken Berger was a dry flattened fillet again the chef should take lessons in seasoning .chips were fine service was good and friendly. My friends fish and chips looked better and the sticky toffee pudding was a better bet. I have had better pub food.

The Ashlea may seem a typical chain pub serving food but I found the food was excellent. We had a 60th Birthday party lunch for 15 and the service was very efficient even though we had a delay due to some guest being held up on a motorway. Everyone had an enjoyable time and all said they enjoyed the food.... More

First visit to meet friends who live locally. I didn't manage to get any names but from the start at the bar to ordering food it was a great experience. Lovely food and beer with great friendly service. You have to pay to park but this is refunded at the bar. Don't forget to get a parking ticket or it... More

There is a "patrons only car park" sign at the entrance, don't fall into the trap of thinking it's free parking. My wife failed to see the parking charge sign and received a £85 parking charge if paid within 14 days it was reduced to £50,. It would be a nice gesture if the staff were to confirm with customers... More
