Amazing quaint and quirky with super friendly staff and tasty food. Such a lovely atmosphere and inclusive the person I was supporting completely forgot he wasn't fond of small spaces.

Forget the Shrine and take a Pilgrimage to the delightful Read and Digest Tearoom by the Old Pump Walsingham. We had homemade soup with real bread and butter, a confection of honey and almond cake and a pot of Assam tea all served up by...the Lovely Ladies. All good and you can buy a book too.!More

Popped in after a stroll around the Abbey grounds and very glad I did. I had THE most delicious bowl of soup accompanied by a ridiculously good scone and butter.

Wandering around Walsingham was a delight anyway, before concluding it in this delightful little quirky tearoom. Excellent home cooked food with the most extensive range of teas to suit any palette. Friendly helpful service by ladies with plenty character! Worthy of a detour to this...unique village on its own.More

We went there for Mother's Day afternoon tea. WOW, the food was amazing and not just cake and sandwiches, but a taster of savoury and sweet dishes. Our tummies were full and we took home leftovers. My teenage son commented that he had never had...a cake that put such a smile on his face. The staff were amazing and it was so homely!More

Another fantastic visit to the gorgeous quaint tea room set in Walsingham. We had booked a table as went to see the snow drops at Walsingham Abbey. It was lovely to see Linda and Sam when we arrived. Always made so welcome. Such a gorgeous...place full of charm and character. Display cabinets with tea cups, tea pots etc, its like stepping back in time. The homemade soup and scone were delicious. All freshly made. The cappuccino expertly made by the lovely Linda with a smile. Such a amazing atmosphere, we really enjoyed it thank you. A little gem. We will see you all again soon, Karen and Tony xMore

Gorgeous quirky tearoom in Walsingham. We were seated inside and the tearoom is rather quaint, full of books, teapots and china crockery! Enjoyed a lovely cuppa and generous slice of Coffee and Walnut cake. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his tea bread and coffee. There are...no menus other than a small blackboard inside. I possibly would have chosen something different but of course without a menu, one has to rely on the staff to recall the items. Staff were friendly, chatty and efficient. The food was delicious. Clearly a very popular place and there is seating outside too. If I lived in the local area, it would definitely be a favourite haunt.More

Visited twice in June. Its a lovely spot and the food is really delicious. The only thing that I don't like is the reluctance to have any form of menu at the table. I get that the appeal is fresh bakes every day, but when...you rely on the person serving you to rattle off the list of what is available, people like me lose track, get flustered and panic order. I kind of get the intent, but I like a moment to choose, discuss with the husband what we might have, whether there is any sharesies happening over cake etc., Honestly, we would have ordered more and stayed longer if we had seen a menu - perhaps that is just different styles, some people are auditory, some are visual - I need a list, and then I would have probably ordered half the menu! Aside from that though, the tea is fab, and regularly topped up, and the quiche, delicious.More

What a refreshing change to find a place to eat with atmosphere, freshly cooked delicious food and friendly, courteous and welcoming staff, together with being a dog friendly establishment, even giving biscuit treats to our dogs. The cheese scone was so fresh and tasty and...the mango and coconut cake was amazing, hopefully we’ll be back soon to sample more of the tasty menu items, thank youMore

We were visiting for the day having been on the Wells railway, and this was a fine place to stop for a drink before our train back. The tables in the square were great given the good weather. The service was friendly though forgetful, and...the coffee was ok, but I wouldn’t bother calling it a flat white on the menu when it wasn’t. The homemade sausage roll however was really tasty.More
