Driving up to and past the establishment, it is very picturesque with its Christmas lights. Popped in for a drink to catch up with friends and ended up staying to eat. The place had a lovely atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the staff...More

Stopped by just for a tipple after the fireworks. Excellent character inside, especially loved how they sold local produce and had a rack for local business cards. The beer garden I can imagine would be brilliant in summer, very spacious with all sorts of seating,...More

We ordered 3 white wine spritzers with our lunch and were surprised when 2 arrived as expected while the third looked like cloudy lemonade. When I remarked upon this Jeremy, the barman, commented that it was because it was from a new bottle. I then...More

We have eaten there twice now with family members and cannot fault anything. The second time I booked on line which was great. Good choice of food on menu and prices reasonable.

Food was okay, but I would say overpriced for quality. Staff again were okay, but didn't find them particularly friendly. Pub is run of the mill.

Yes, the place is quite quirky but it is inviting in it's decor. Menu was limited for lunch and it seems that burgers are the popular item. One on our table was good and well presented. The crab cake starter was very small for the...More

Liked the separate room upstairs we were allocated for our party of 10 for Sunday lunch. Staff helpful. Food arrived in reasonable time seeing as they were very busy. Portion sizes are large and a child’s meal was enough for the ladies in our party....More

No, had to back into a space, that's fine but we were on a busy main road. Not easy. I think there were 6 parking bays. There was notice of parking, I think it said next door.
