Typical Tim Hortons

Typical of all Tim Hortons. Busy since it's close to the 401 so very convenient. Last I was there a lot of road works.

Stopped for lunch and had very pleasant service & food. I ordered the Chilli which came with a fresh roll. It was hot (not spicy hot but heat hot) and meaty. It's my type of chilli, tomato based with peppers and mushrooms and lots of ground beef.

This is my second review of this location. I don't go to Guelph very often but when I do I make a point of stopping at this Tim Hortons location. I find that it is always clean & bright and the staff is great. The staff here must be trained well & treated well as everyone I've dealt with seems to be happy in their work & very efficient. On this visit an elderly lady ahead of me was having difficulty handling her tray & the clerk immediately sent someone around the counter to help her. I could tell that the woman was very grateful for the help & others were impressed. This is where the training shows. Like all Tims the coffee & food is always good but it's the service at this location that brings me back.

Why is it so tough to get an order the way I ask for it?

I stopped in to this Tim Hortons location on my way to Peterborough to grab some breakfast and a coffee for the road. I like the new farmers breakfast wrap and ordered those but I find the spicy mayo that comes on them a little too spicy for my taste, so I always ask them to substitute the chipotle sauce. I could see the fellow making my wraps from where we're standing and I wasn't sure that he put the right sauce on them. When he handed them to the girl who brought them to me she asked him if he put the right sauce on them, he said he did. When the girl handed me the wraps I asked her if chipotle sauce was on them, she said it was. Now I'm driving down the highway and open up one of my wraps. Low and behold they have spicy mayo on them. I'm obviously not gonna turn around and drive back to make an issue of it with the restaurant. Why is it so hard to get an order right these kids just don't care or are very poorly trained. The one who made my wraps outright lied about what he did. If you want your breakfast the way you want it don't go to this location.
