A restaurant with a view . Such a joy to visit as you tire from skiing the superb slopes and settle to the views and joys of this fantastic hostelry high on the slopes visited by skiers and customers who trecking up from the lifts on foot but it is all worth while.. Amazing service and food selection.. Do not... More

The servery was very cramped and took a while to get through. Food was fine but nothing special. we had sausages and chips - but the omlette looked much better. Nice spot looking over both sides of the resort.

My expectations were mixed having read some of the previous reviews, so I was delighted to find very helpful friendly staff, great food, great views. We were a group of 5, reserved a table by phone, and had super waitress service. The draught beer is the excellent Warsteiner which hit the spot after 3 hours of cycling. The food price... More

What a rip off. You know you will spend a bit more on the slopes in restaurants but this is ridiculous and it is a self service on top of it. Service behind the counter is borderline rude, "I don't give a monkey what you want, we are always full anyway" type of service. The food is actually not bad... More

We had the cheesiest lunch here! The view is fabulous and we went a bit early to have drinks on the terrace before lunch. The staff are friendly but very busy. don't expect chit chatting in the high season. My husband had a dish that was basically a pot of simmering cheese with potatoes and ham on the side. He... More

The staff are always friendly here. Serving is cafeteria style but the food is cooked individually. The omelettes are particularly good. In cold weather the restaurant gets very full. In the sunshine there is plenty of seating for all.

Brilliantly situated on the Col du Joly between Les Contamines Montjoie and Hauteluce, this is a justly popular place to eat. In the Summer, it's a gentle 45 minute ramble from the top of Le Signal telecabine, whilst less energetic feasters can drive from Hauteluce. In the winter, it is easily reached from the top of the Hauteluce high-speed chair.... More

This is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch and drink in the view in the sunshine (and even when it's wet, windy and foggy you'll get a warm welcome inside!) Meals are served in cafeteria style but home cooked and generous portions. At weekends and holidays there's often live music too.
