It is well worth taking time to find this beautiful den of relaxation, we visited in the summer so were able to make use of the pool after our lazy lunch, however, I would equally love to visit in the winter months. I wish that I had paid more attention in my French lessons though ...... still time I suppose!

Great food but on the expensive side and they don't seem to appreciate kids can eat less and should be charged less. Still reasonable value as it was well done food and nice ambience.

One of our favourite Alpine restaurants. Excellent food , service and value. A great place to visit any time of year. Great for lunch in summer too with outdoor pool to enjoy.

My wife and I were joined by another couple and their two small children. Upon being seated in the lounge area by the fire, we were informed that there was no children's menu, nor any food designed for children. This is quite clearly a venue that is not wish for children to be brought along for the ride. This in... More

We went here as a group of 4 (2 couples) and our 3 month old baby (who was sleeping) on a Saturday evening. One couple had already been and highly recommended the restaurant. We were met by a friendly waitress who offered us drinks in a shared area (L shaped sofa). There was plenty of room, but other diners refused... More

Been here twice. Both times the food and ambience have been so memorable. When you arrive you are greeted into the old stone building by warm hosts (of which more later) and a warmer fire. Drinks by the open fire on fur rugs set you up. The meat is placed on the fire as you make your menu choices -... More

If there's one place you should try to book to have the gastro-experience, whilst in the neighbourhood, it's this one. It is simply a wonderful place, atmosphere and cuisine not to be missed. It isn't easy to find, you walk down the street for about 300 yards and then turn right and just beyond a water trough and next to... More

The one thing that hits you when you walk inside the restaurant is the fire place and the sensation of spaciousness. I went with friends who were locals and knew the owner. We had a booth for the 6 of us which worked very well. The food was very good and wine good as well. A very pleasant evening. I'm... More
