What a scary, innappropriate man that runs this place. When my dad goes through (ex-RCMP), he's nice and charming as pie. To women (including myself), he is sexist and intimidating. I'm truly scared of him. And he has moldy buns. Truly.

Stopped here on our way up from Whitehorse to Dawson City for one of their world famous massive Cinnamon Buns. We were aware of the reputation of the owner so we weren’t expecting awesome service, but he was fine with us. It was delicious and...More

We were part of a group of 40 who stopped by on a bus tour going from Dawson City to Whitehorse. We had coffee and one of the large cinnamon buns to share. It was large but did seem a bit stale and was definitely...More

My husband and I paid a visit to the Lodge for lunch. The sandwiches were stunning, made with fresh bread, real butter and well-balanced ingredients. It is not only the cinnamon buns that are gigantic! Smiling service and a pleasant atmosphere helped add to the...More

They say if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, don’t do it anymore! This is clearly the case of the bearded owner. He does not seem to enjoy any aspect of his encounter with the many customers who visit his store. Many people in Whitehorse...More

We drove the klondike and Dempster highways from Whitehorse to Inuvik and it would have included Tuktoyaktuk if the road conditions were better. Of the 2800 km we traveled there were several highlights : wading in the Arctic Ocean at Tuk, crossing the Arctic Circle,...More

If you want the biggest grilled cheese or cinnamon bun Braeburn is the only place in the Yukon you can go. The Cinnamon bun could be shared:) Services should be improved and the building has not been updated in decades.

Dont be fooled by the reviews where people were not hugged when they walked in and smiled at constantly - food was fantastic and stupidly large portions. The grumpy looking owner was what he was - we drove out of our way to come here...More

You are in for a treat. All homemade and the very best. You have to stop in and experience Braeburn in person.

This was one of the strangest meals I've had. The waiter/cook didn't greet us when we walked in for dinner. After standing around for a few seconds, we asked him if they were serving food and he said, "What do you want?" When we said...More
