Was staying at the Mill river for work. First night ordered room service was great, ordered a meal and asked for no jalapeños or onions it was no problem. The next night decided to get the same thing and they told me they couldn’t do...it with no jalapeños or onions!? Even though I got it the night before. And they also forgot my drink, but didn’t seem worth calling back down the restaurant seems understaffed and the phone isn’t always answered.More

Came here on the recommendation of staff at the West Point Lighthouse. We think we got a bum steer, or perhaps we just ordered the wrong things, but it was the worst meal we had while on PEI. The quinoa salad with lobster (a $12...upcharge) was truly horrible. Does anyone there know that quinoa is not highly flavored and actually benefits from the addition of seasonings and other salad ingredients? I was served a pile of bland quinoa and lobster. It was perhaps the most tasteless dish I've had in a long time. The lobster on top had NO flavoring. How did they manage that? My husband's chowder and bacon wrapped scallops were OK, not great, so overall, the place is a 2-1/2 to 3 stars. No more.More

Stopped in here for a light lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of beers and wine, solid upscale pub food menu. We had oysters and chowder. Oysters were perfectly shucked and served with lemon wedges, no cocktail sauce or other accompaniments. We were fine...with that, but if you are the type who wants horseradish and cocktail sauce, you may have to ask for it. Chowder was excellent and loaded with large chunks of salmon, scallops, lobster. Sat on the deck which is a very nice space overlooking the greens. Service was excellent, but I should note that they were not very busy at the time. Will definitely return.More

Raw vegetables, undercooked risotto and the most flavourless salmon I’ve ever eaten. My husband had a hoagie and said it was a 2/10. French fries were not bad. Seriously, get a new chef!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here, the traditional fish and chips was top notch with lovely light crisp batter and hand cut fries cooked perfectly, I chose a flavourful nan bread with cream cheese, capers, smoked salmon, red onion and roasted beets. The service was...good and the food was really good. The recent renovation was well done and the prices were reasonableMore

This is simply a poorly managed and run restaurant. We aate there 3 times thinking the previous experience must had been a fluke. NOPE! Horrible food. Don't say I did not warn you.

I had the most incredible Gluten Free chowder from Callaghan's Restaurant and Bar located in the Mill River Resort. It was filled with large pieces of all types of seafood and was absolutely delicious. When the chowder arrived it was such a large serving and...I even told the server that I would never be able to eat it all. Boy was I wrong - I ate every last bit of it because it so so good! I would highly recommend.More

The restaurant is modern and clean. There is an outside deck overlooking the golf course. The menu is appealing and we thought the prices were fair. The bartender makes good drinks. Overall a good first experience.
