Fantastically beautiful Beach Club… with free seating areas and sunbeds or cabins for a fee! We chose the free seats because we only wanted to have lunch! Super nice staff and everything neat and tidy! There is no shortage of attention! Not very cheap but definitely worth it… we drank bubbles, ate a delicious oyster and a plate for two people with lamb, chicken, tzatziki, humus etc… delicious…

The Potato Head Beach Club in Bali is a popular destination that offers a relaxed ambience with modern design and magnificent views of the beach. Facilities include a large swimming pool, comfortable lounge areas and direct access to the beach. This place is also known for its live music events and renowned DJs that create a lively nightlife atmosphere. Amazing sunset view, excellent service✨ great foods🌸 I loved this beach♥️ The staff was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain each dish in detail and offered valuable recommendations based on our preferences. Ripoff. Rp180k each to enter, advised that this represents a credit of Rp180k each which can be spent on drinks. We only later realised that minimum spends apply if you want your sit on the good seats, the comfortable seats, or the seats with water view., pool view, good view, any view. We weren’t advised of that on entry. We sat at the bar and ordered Prosecco. We were then only later advised that the Rs180k drinks credit only applied to cocktails and mocktails, not to Prosecco. And that we had to pay for the Prosecco immediately - no tab or account facility. Uncivilised and disappointing. $40 later, we then ordered cocktails to enable use of our Rp180k credit. Awful - some kind of mango martini with Prosecco mix. Whoever came up with the recipe was very misguided, and the staff have a very misguided view of the meaning of service. Rs150k each. We spent our 2 x Rs180k credit on these awful drinks, got no change or remaining credit, and left. Absolute ripoff, too many rules and restrictions. There is great hospitality on Bali, but not at this place. To be avoided unless you want to be subject to extortion and miscommunicated restrictions.

The place is very nice, the view of the ocean is pleasant. On the other hand, the dishes are basic and not very tasty - frozen fries - without flavor - small portions. A tourist trap. The staff is not pleasant, you have to spend a certain amount of money if you want a beachfront table close to the pool.

Husband and I visited Potatohead this trip to Bali for the first time. Chose this as they had a Rainbow Disco club event on. I enquired via WhatsApp the pricing for entry, daybeds etc to the club for this event and was given the minimum spend details.
We decided not to pre-book but do a walk in only so as to see if the weather was decent.
Upon arrival, we enquired which day beds were available. We told the only area left was the grass mattresses at $150 AUD min spend. These were all in the sun without umbrellas. Asked about the dry beds closer to pools with umbrellas and couldn’t get a confirmed response just being told “we cannot promise this is available”. Asked 3 times and got told only available was the grass area or the seafood restaurant, where could only order from the seafood menu (I don’t eat seafood).
So we asked if we could go and sit near the bar on opposite side. Was told we could? (Even though this option wasn’t given when asking our options?)
When we walked over there, another staff member asked if we would like to sit and gestured towards the day beds that we had just been told we couldn’t have one? Sure enough she gave us one with min spend $300 AUD.
Once we sat down, we were given one menu with drink and food options. A couple next to us were brought a plate of grilled prawns, we checked the menu again and these were not on them?
Had to ask whether there were other food options available, and told yes. So I asked for those menus as well. We had been there about 30 mins already and we still waiting on the bucket of beers we ordered.
Got to about 7pm (we had arrived about 3pm) and I asked what time the disco event was. Starting, only to be told this was a seperate event and not included in the $300 min spend we just paid, which contradicts what I was told on WhatsApp when I originally enquired???
Food and drinks good, but just feel improvement could be made in information provided to patrons particularly when paying top dollar.

I arrived with my teenage kids being told it was a cool place and not too expensive. We had amazing experiences in Seminyak at night as well as La Luciola so expected a lot. However what a precious overpriced money pit. You get dropped off at entrance but have to walk 100metres in hot sun to get picked up.
We were told sun lounges were minimum 1 million spend, so we had table along wall. Ordered 2 dishes and chips were fried in used oil so had that rank taste. I ordered a health drink that was small and my kids had can of sprite each. Bill was $650,000 and I didn’t leave tip as too much charged on top, I understand government tax but not huge service charge!
We intended to stay for 3hrs but left after 1 hour to do something better.

We’re sorry that you did not enjoy your meal with us. We are disappointed as we spend a lot of time sourcing quality ingredients from local producers as well as researching and developing our recipes however, recognize it is a difficult job attuning to everyone’s palates. In regards to the oil, we always use high quality cooking oil and we do have measures in place to re-use used cooking oil as house-made candles around the resort.
In regards to the taxi pick up issue, since we’re always striving to support our local community. We like to work with local taxis. If you prefer to book your transport online or via apps, just let us know and we’ll be happy to shuttle you to the entrance and help you to meet pre-booked rides there.
While we understand that this may not resonate with everyone, we highly value your feedback and take it to heart.

We visited in the low season as a couple. Options on entry
1/seats and table its free
2/day lounge min spend $150 (AUD)
3/day bed near pool with umbrella min spend $300 (AUD)
We went with option 2. We had cocktails ($15 AUD each) and some shared plates. We had 5 cocktails over 4hrs and didn’t feel a thing. I think there is very minimal alcohol in them.
The pool over looking the water is very nice. The place has a nice vibe. The clientele is not young goers, more 30 plus. For excitement and party I would try Finn’s beach club. This is more relaxed.

A full day outing with the Sun n Sand, multiple open pools, Bar Pools, Infinity Pools personalised attention and food and drinks service at your chosen relax zone..Amazing way to spend a full day.
All that you need to take along is your beach /swimming gear, lots of sun lotion ,books, music and get ready to be pampered. The club has variety of chill zones basis the package you choose for your family. Within the chosen package you will be served unlimited food and drinks.
The club opens to a private beach . The sunset with the music from the club, the sea breeze is paradise .
Dont miss this place while in Bali.

**SUMMARY**
PROS Great sunset views, top quality food & cocktails. Friendly staff. Picturesque decor.
CONS: No major flaws. (Observation - Very high footfall traffic and hour either side of sunset).
We visited Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak upon recommendation from friends. Access was easy either through the front entrance, a slight detour off the main road, or via the beach. The latter offering an easy entry right into the heart of the venue.
The venue provides 'lounge seating' for relaxing with food and drink in the heart of the venue, rowed seating looking out to sea, dining areas and the unique selling point of infinity pools overlooking the beach. Each has their own merits and all are comfortable.
The food here is of good quality and well sized portions, similarly the cocktail and general beverages are of high quality and varied selection.
The unique selling point of the venue is the ability to watch the sunset, in comfort (either from the infinity pool or seating areas) with a drink in hand. This is truly iconic and a must experience if in the area.
The staff are welcoming and helpful, provided a high quality of service feeling.
Overall I would recommend this venue if in the area, however I would caution potential visitors to be mindful of the high level of visitors around sunset, this is to be expected given the stunning views.

Potato Head beach club was a HUGE success!
8 friends including myself were sat on spacious beach lounges, over looking a gorgeous view and served some of the best food we’ve had in Bali!
The service was excellent. Waiters came consistently to take our orders and the food came even faster.
Prices were more than reasonable with a delicious Margarita Pizza at $11 and a whole fresh Coconut at $4.50 (AUD)
My friends tried a variety of food including including the chicken wings, mushroom and zucchini pizza, and the vegetable focaccia - this one in particular was given RAVING reviews (see pictures).
Overall potato head beach club was a very pleasant experience and I’d reccomend it to friends, family and everyone else!

We were here for sunset time since other beach club was full of bookings and had to wait at least an hour. This place is very huge and worth to spend your time here, specially food was more than expected (pizza, snacks…) and service from mantree was top notch. Kept care about us professionally. We arrived just after 11am and had no problem renting a garden day bed. If you prebook it’s more expensive and they will only allow 2 per daybed. However they had no problem with 4 of us sharing a daybed with a minimum spend of only 1.5 million rrp. That covered drinks, lunch and fruit platters plus several bottles of water. Our teenage daughters loved it. We were less keen - it’s a young persons vibe really with lots of posing. We didn’t stay for sunset but could have kept the daybed for that. I wouldn’t therefore recommend prebooking.
You also don’t need to take towels if renting a daybed/pool bed.
The service was great. The staff couldn’t do enough for the guests.

Went just before sunset, hoping to enjoy a few beers. We stayed for one beer. Given the number of staff it took quite a while for our 2 beers to arrive. We looked at the menu, food was overpriced, as were the beers (add the tax and the service tax and it was even more). The music at this point reminded me of an air raid siren so couldn’t even hear my partner speak. The one thing we liked was the highlighting at the main entrance of recycling/up cycling and the info/machines used to make new items - shame this wasn’t advertised more when inside.
Go to have a walk through, it does have a great view and location on the beach. if there is a group and you’re staying the day then you may be able to afford the minimum charge to sit in the more comfortable seats/loungers. A lot of style over substance for us. Walk down the beach in either direction and you can watch the sunset with a beer for a third of the price (which we did).

Great view, decor, furniture. The food was delicious (drooling at the thought of the cauliflower bites!). The staff were so attentive and helpful, always ready to grab me a fresh towel if I had just had a swim, ready to take my drink order. The ongoing free replacement towel was such a nice touch. Would recommend a daybed for sure! Music could be a bit better vibe. Nice big pool. Be mindful when visiting beach clubs that things add up very quickly depending on how you eat and drink.
