Called in twice for drinks only whilst staying locally and only ever saw one staff member who appeared to be doing everything from serving behind bar to wearing chefs whites on our second visit and still serving the bar area. The pub decor is a bit tired and we moved seats as we were sat near the ladies toilets which... More

Hi We replaced your sandwiches they were under the heat lights too long due to them having chips with them. the replacements were soft nothing wrong with our homemade bread at all. our bread is fresh with no additives so they have a proper crust not like shop bought awful bread. Great value for money our sandwiches but thanks for... More

Pleasant enough staff ,but rather a space dining area, table stained .the food was fairly tasty,if rather overdone.hell of a job to cut the single carrot, and the fork struggled to piece the two roast spuds.the Yorkshire pudding looked like an inflated brown paper bag.again the pizzas were fine.and price including drinks and puddings was reasonable..having said all that still ok for... This pub has improved dramatically since we first moved to the village a couple of years ago. Love the decor and feel of the place and the Pizza's are the best I've had in a long time. 2 for 1 deal on Tuesday evenings too!

Went here on the way to Blenheim Christmas lights and had a very warm welcome from the staff. Great warm and inviting pub with excellent service, they could not do enough for us! Had nachos and the sharing platter to start followed by 2x steak and ale pies, vegetable pasta and burger and chips! All homemade and massive portions!!! The... More

We had our Christmas dinner here today & chose the Christmas menu. The starters were ok, but lacked flavour, especially the prawn cocktails. For the main, some of us chose the sirloin beef, which was really difficult to cut, despite being wafer thin. The roast potatoes were, I'm afraid, a joke. they were obviously frozen ' aunt bessie style' and... More

Merry Christmas to you. I really find it hard to understand how you never complained once, we checked back on your starters and on your mains and none of you said a bad word. This restaurant was just up the road from where we were staying in Bladon and we thought we'd give it a try. We were greeted warmly and asked where we would like to sit. We ordered drinks and I asked for a soft drink that they didn't have, however, the waiter said he would make me a drink very similar... More
