After going horseback riding, I went with my family today for lunch to Gustitos Criollos. Oh my! Everything we had it was delicious. We had rice, red beans, gandinga, carne mechada, pernil, mofongo, bistec encebollado, arañitas, ensalada de granos y de brócoli. This is a true Puerto Rican flavor lunch! You got to try this place. Highly Recommended! We also... More

It was recommended by a friend ,but he never told how fantastic this place is, service is fast no waiting time, people a very friendly, but that is nothing compared to the food. Accidentally stumbled on to this place, but we were glad. Amazing food, great ambience, and very friendly staff who really tried hard to explain everything in english. Fantastic taste, variety and options. Would visit any time again.

I visited about a month ago with my husband and mother in law. It took us a minute to understand the process and pricing due to our limited Spanish, but we tried. And they did too. We are pescatarians and they were out of a few fish dishes at the time (we came towards the end of lunch), but they... More

This cafeteria style restaurant is a surprise!! Nice simple service, nothing fancy but surprisingly good!. I had the meatloaf with white rice and amarillos and I was transported to my grandmothers house on a Sunday lunch!!!! Right in the road getting to Arecibo. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Friendly faces, fresh ingredients and clean tables. I dined here through my week of staying and never had the same dish twice and everything I ate... More

We LOVED everything that we had here. It reminded us of Abuelas authentic Puerto Rican food. By far, this was the best and most authentic place we ate on the island. It's cafeteria style and busy at lunchtime. We had to park down the road and walk, but it wasn't too far. We had chicken, white rice and beans with... More
