One of our drivers took us to this restaurant, not to be confused with the Kan Eang beside the pier in Chalong Bay. Kan Eang 2 is seaside set beside a beach where children played while waiting for their meal. It seemed largely used by the Thai people and expatriates, service, ambience and food was so good here that we... More

We have had a house in Chalong for nearly 20 years and have tried most of the seafood restaurants in the south of the island. Parlai , Chai yo , Kan Eng 1 and 2 Are our favourites and Kan Eng 2 gets my vote as the best based on seafood quality Price and the best location. The prawns, crabs, clams,... More

We are here on our first night in Chalong. As a starter we shared the deep fried prawns in weeds to try something new. It was interesting, lovely sauce that went with it but maybe a bit too much deep fried stuff all on one plate for me and small-ish prawns which was really why we ordered it. I then... More

If you would like to have Thai food on the beach at Chalong area then Kan Eang 2 is a good choice. This restaurant has another branch named Kan Eang 1, and it has better view, service and setup however the food is for tourist (not real thai taste). If you would like to have real Thai food then visit... More

The food is excellent and great service. Nice seating outdoors by the water. The food is a bit pricey but nice when you are in the mood for a great seafood feast.

The location on the sea is absolutely beautiful. The quality is good also if the menu is not so extensive. Very good the prawns Kan Eang style, the crab curry and the fish with soy sauce. Could be better, in particular for the service and the menu, but I prefer this restaurant to the same name Kan Eang Pier that... More

I have been visiting this place for almost 15 years and it is still one of my favourite restaurants in Phuket. It is set by the sea on a private and peaceful beach. Very different from the seafood restaurants you find in the busy Patong, Kata areas. The food is always delicious. If you order lobster and prawns, it will... More

This is a restaurant frequented mostly by locals, a real find. There are a few restaurants with same or similar name, all part of the same group. The one we went to was called Kan Eang 2.
