Playground close by, casual relaxed dining with friendly staff. Staff can speak English and our orders came out in a timely manner. We loved watching families enjoy their meals, and the wines were superb. Highly recommend!

We had amazing pasta and pizza! We highly recommend. We were able to call ahead and order take away. I arrived a little early for pick up and they served me a delicious crispy bread appetizer at the bar. Loved everything- wish we had more...time to go backMore

La Villetta was recommended to us by the owners of our holiday rental. It was as lovely as they said. We had the meat and cheese antipasta, vegetable pasta and sausage pasta, chicken and lamb main courses. The waitress was super helpful and helped us...with the menu as some of our family eat no red meat. Service was efficient, the restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday lunchtime and the bill was reasonable. We would love to come back to sample other dishes off the quite extensive seasonal menu.More

On a short break, ate here two nights, great place. Food was excellent, the Tagliata ( steak) was as good as I have ever tasted. Service was very efficient yet ever so friendly, and great value for money. Will be back!!

Why? Because the ingredients are local and fresh (meat, veggies and pasta, of course, as it is produced in this area), because the staff is absolutely friendly and smiling, because the setting is framed in the nature and there is a playing area outside. Very...highly recommended, but don‘t expect high cuisine, you are still in a mountain village! One that I will dream about.More

This is a fairly unusual type of review but felt it was worth a mention, either for those in a similar situation or just as background for the sort of place this is. We arrived for lunch with our teenage daughter who has several severe...food allergies. Having ordered our starters and main courses, and informing the waitress of the issues, she returned to say that on double checking one of the ingredients in the bolognese sauce contained egg, and said they had found a suitable alternative. My daughter became quite nervous and decided she would rather not eat there. (This is quite understandable due to the life threatening nature of the allergies but of course not the restaurant's fault). The waitress was concerned for her and eventually thebchef appeared, with a pan of pasta he had cooked separately, some olive oil, a chunk of Parmesan and a grater. The result was that my daughter was re assured and enjoyed a delicious if simple dish. He also brought the meat dish and explained the contents in detail, in case she wanted to try it. (she didn't, we did; it was delicious). Apart from all that drama the food was very good and there was a relaxed & enjoyable atmosphere to the placeMore

After a short trip to Italy eating in 6 different restaurants, this had without doubt the best pasta by some distance. I had the mushroom Ravioli with Truffle and the flavours were to die for. I'd have it again tomorrow. The restaurant itself is lovely...and quaint, offering a wide range of wines & beers to buy from their stock. Complimentary spirits at the end were the icing on the cake.More

Outside of a couple of bars (and the hotel), this is unfortunately the only game in town, so locals put up with the lack of service. We tried it a coupe of times and both times waited 20-30 minutes just for menus. After that, we...trekked down to the Casoli area where there's better pizza and more choices.More

We dropped in to this place for bite to eat. It appeared a few locals were going in to it and were already eating so we though it was worth a try. As our italian isnt brilliant we fumbled our way through and end up...with a nice meal. starter consisting of local abruzzi salame and cheese. some nice some not so. We had a couple of other dishes which also were good and tasty. On leaving and paying the bill we were offere the local digestive, Genziana, which I think is an acquired taste. My advice would be to go with the menu of the day which most of the other diners seemed to be havingMore
