Went to this shop looking for the seasonal strawberry daifuku (like many others have before) only to find out they had a season apricot daifuku instead. We purchased two and were very impressed! They melt in your mouth and the apricot was a unique twist.

Very yummy mochi. They are soft and not too sweet. They also have seasonal ones. We had the peach and the regular red bean. Both were really good. We were staying at Ginza so we went to the original Ginza shop. Must try.

We bought a small assortment of mochi including mame-daifuku (with red beans) and one with seasonal chestnut filling. All were soft, lightly sweet and very worth getting.

A bit pricy. He restaurant located on the second floor, the waiters and waitresses are well trained. I like the presentations of the courses, though the portion is small, we didn't feel full after the dinner.

The mochis are freshly made Everyday. We find it a little pricey but worth it because the strawberry is sweet, big and juicy. It must be consume within the day. Great service as well.

I love mochi and this place sells absolutely fantastic mochi. The strawberry mochi deserves special mention - really out of this world! The mochi was so good that early on the morning of our departure, we made a trip back to Ginza Akebono to buy...More
