Reservations recommended in advance. We arrived at 5 pm, checked in and were hungry from a long drive. Could not get a table until 8:30. Instead we found a nice spot in the bar area adjacent to the window, watched sunset and enjoyed the restaurant menu. Quality of the food was good. Our waitress, Paige was exceptional.

We had breakfast at the Dining Room on the morning of our departure from the Inn. Both the food and service were top notch. My wife's spinach, mushroom & asiago cheese omelet was, to quote, "the best [she has] had in a restaurant." My sausage & biscuits with eggs was also very good -- presented "casserole" style, all stacked together.... More

The dining room at the Inn is by far the most luxurious fine dining establishment in Death Valley. It is expensive. Service is excellent. The menu offers a good selection of entrees. Wine list is OK. If price is a barrier, think about going up there for a drink around sunset..

O have stayed at the Inn three times and they were wonderful experiences. Though a bit on the premium side for my pocketbook, the food was 4 Star where ever else you might go. It is a place out of the Wealthy 40s and 50s.

We made reservations a week early at their famous restaurant. We checked in early with the dining room manager Angel 45 minutes early and said we would be in the bar which was directly in front of him. We returned for our reservation 5 minutes early. In front of us was a couple without reservations and they were seated immediately.... More

The menu seems frozen in the 1980's. Too much heavy food, and there should be healthier options. Why no vegetable side dishes, juice concoctions, lighter fare?

We had dinner one night and brunch one morning. The food was excellent. My wife's filet was undercooked (which sometimes happens) and the server graciously take it back and returned it cooked perfectly. My steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The sides were unique and tastey. (My wife had potato croquettes formed in the shape of a pear. I had... More

Very nice place for a national park restaurant. Well maintained room with better than expected food and service. Highlight was the date bread with date butter (save a piece for dessert).

I had a great dinner here with my family. I did not expect food of this quality in the middle of the desert. My only criticism is that I would have liked more regional cuisine. If you are staying anywhere in Furnace Creek- it is definitely the best dining experience.
