Wanted a good salad. What we got sounded good on the menu, but appeared to be canned chicken dumped out of a can. Dirty, dusty (to be expected) hole. But it's the only choice in the area.

We ate at the restaurant two times. Both times the food was truly very good. We had the burgers and the pizza...can't go wrong with either choice.

These folks are SUPER friendly and serve a darn good meal, considering it's in the middle of nowhere. Sit on the porch and enjoy the scenery. Consider spending the night. Buy a few gallons of gas. It's a long way to Stovepipe Wells.

We were told that Darwin Falls was a great place to visit just outside of Panamint Springs. Driving up to the ghost town of Darwin requires 4wd and the walk to the falls is about 3mi round trip. All fun and worth it, but we...More
