We stopped on our day bus trip through the park and would recommend going all the way though, otherwise, why go?

We had breakfast at the buffet. The food was nicely prepared with a wide selection of hot foods. Dinner was served Family style. There are a lot of energetic servers in this small dining room, our service was prompt and excellent.

Enough food to fill you up and recharge your batteries for great days. Chef provided nice choices for each meal.

We are here as part of the Kantishna Roadhouse park experience. The lunch was much better than most of these type tours with it being a bowl of hot soup, a wrap and a chocolate chip cookie. Included with the lunch was the opportunity to either pan for gold or see a dog sled demo. It was a delightful break... More

Stayed at Kantishna for 3 nights. The food here was good but not great. Service very friendly and professional. Setting is lovely. Lucky they don't have to compete with much else given the location some 90 miles into Denali. The bus ride in would be wonderful and is probably the best part, but wouldn't do it without staying two or... More

Didn't expect to have a dinner prepared by a Chef. Thought it would be short order preparations here. Not a lot of choices for eating on the menu because of the remoteness of the Roadhouse, but everything was well prepared and enjoyable. They try to accommodate dietary problems if you can't eat the day's meal.

After a wonderfully breath-taking drive through Denail National Park we ended in Kantishna, as far as one can go. The grounds were well kept with beautiful flowers, log buildings, and antler decor. We especially like the public telephone booth for 5 cents! The Roadhouse was quite large with seating for several groups at once and was spotless. We did not... More

I like their soup (Italian sausage). The turkey wrap was tasty and cookies taste well too. Clean environment, local decoration style and very friendly staff.
