Good food and friendliness, a restaurant located inside the hotel that deserves to be tried. We ate both lunch and dinner at this place and always had a great time. Well cooked dishes, generous portions and very good price.
As soon as you sit down they offer a small appetizer outside the meal, they have a good wine that can also be taken in quarters or half a liter, I recommend trying the fried porcini mushrooms and the excellent taleggio and radicchio gnocchi. The meat is also very good, the fillet is tender and the quality of the meat is excellent.

We have known the restaurant for years, always a certainty, never a disappointment.
Raw materials of the highest level, dishes cooked with simple but unparalleled skill.
What can I say: from blueberry risotto, to tagliatelle with fondue and speck, passing through an unforgettable mushroom soup... and for the second courses, the unattainable fried lamb and Alpine fillet and then the conclusion with something sublime and never eaten elsewhere... spumone (cream semifreddo with ancient flavours) with warm blueberries.
Prices absolutely consistent with the quality offered.
The only small difficulty may be represented by the fact that the restaurant does not accept reservations; but if this is the choice of the property to offer the excellent service reserved for customers, we respect it and, given the results, we can only consider it correct.

Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. They welcomed us with appetizers offered by them. The dishes ordered were excellent and cooked to perfection. Varied menu with many mushroom dishes. The crem caramel was delicious and at the end of the dinner a blueberry liqueur offered by them. Very good value for money.

We had dinner two nights in a row, yes because after the first we decided to return the following day too.
We immediately felt at home thanks to the exquisite welcome of the owner and the smiling and good waitresses.
Special applause for how our three and a half year old twins were pampered, this contributed to the success of the dinners (there are also some games accessible directly from the splendid terrace).
Nothing to say about the cuisine, everything is very good and cooked with love using fresh products.
Polenta with fresh porcini mushrooms is delicious as are the fried porcini mushrooms. But everything else we tried was also of excellent quality, including the house wine.
The "blueberry" offered at the end was very welcome.

It was raining outside and, with my boyfriend and our dog, we were looking for a place to eat. We were greeted by the owner of the Regina restaurant with a unique and genuine kindness, despite the fact that the place was quite full. Care and attention to the customer are shown immediately when they accompany us to the table they had prepared, with enough space to accommodate even our 4-legged friend. With the arrival of the courses lunch only gets better: the tortelli with mushrooms and burrata were the revelation! Very good 🤤. We had lunch in this restaurant which is now part of our visits to Abetone. Unfortunately this year I developed a series of food intolerances and I reported this to the owner. I love the mountains....but after a nice oxygenating walk I need a nice meal!! I can't imagine visiting Abetone without having lunch at the Regina restaurant. Among the delicacies that I love are aubergine pie, tagliatelle with blueberry fondue and speck, polenta alla boscaiola or with porcini mushrooms, sliced meat or fillet

Nice place, full of history in the memorabilia hanging on the wall, which the owner kindly told us about. Amazing porcini mushrooms, both fried and sautéed or with truffles and tagliatelle but above all the burrata and porcini tortelli!! Heavenly... I also ordered fried shank and mushrooms but I would have gladly replaced them with two more portions of these tortelli. Very welcoming and comfortable environment. Excellent quality/price and quantity/price. I will definitely come back.
PS: personally they are not to my taste but excellent risotto with cranberries (a friend comes to this restaurant just for this dish).

Professionalism, kindness, quality and the right price.
The only question, a completely personal one, is that they don't accept reservations, so if you want to go to dinner there, you have to make a plan "B" if you can't find a place...

I showed up at the Regina restaurant at 11.45 (I specify that the restaurant opens at 12.00) to make sure I found a seat because I knew that the restaurant doesn't take reservations. I heard a gentleman reply very rudely that the restaurant was fully booked. I repeat, I showed up at 11.45 and the restaurant opens at 12. How was this possible? I had previously been to this restaurant and showed up at 1pm and didn't find a seat and I was told by the aforementioned gentleman that by showing up at 12pm or 7pm I would be 100% sure of finding a seat. This doesn't appear to me given the experience described above. Having said that, I went to another Abetone restaurant which, even though it was full of people, did everything they could to welcome me, and where I enjoyed some excellent dishes. Not taking reservations does not guarantee a good service in terms of quality and timing to customers of both the restaurant and the hotel so I don't know why the management of the Regina restaurant adopts this organization. Taking reservations would benefit everyone, both customers and the restaurant. That said, everyone is free to do what they want!!! There are many excellent restaurants in Abetone and I can't stand rudeness!!
