We had a decent lunch here. It’s a nice place with some interesting displays. For me though, it’s overpriced. €19 fish and chips got us two small pieces of fish and a small bowl of chips. The fish is unspecified too so you know it’s...a cheaper ingredient provided than cod. €8 for a beer. Service was reasonable although they did serve my son’s ice cream with no spoon and didn’t ask if we wanted any condiments with our mains.More

After visiting Normandy & Omaha Beach, we chose this restaurant for lunch. Good food, good drinks, good company, good weather. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. Then came our bad waiter experience. Our waiter came by to collect dishware from our meal. Picked up...everything, had the items in his hand. We told him we were not finished with the bread and fries and took them back out of his hand. He then threw the remaining items in his hand back on the table. We told him we were through with those items and practically had to force him to pick up the items again. He took them and stalked off like a child having a temper tantrum. When we were ready to pay the check we practically had to grab his arm to stop him to ask him for the check; he barely glanced at us and stalked off. He did bring the check back to us. The co-manager collected the payment. We told him about our experience. He seemed not really to care about it saying that that the individual was his co-owner. Later he said that the person we had a problem with was in fact a waiter and not the co-manager and apologize for the behavior and service of that waiter.More

Had Fish and Chips. Fish batter was overdone but still a good meal. Son got Chicken Supreme and felt portion small. Daughter got kids mussels and 100% satisfied. Excellent service and reasonable price. Banana split was a great desert.

Good was excellent, nice breeze on the patio. Mom had shrimp plate, I had a whitefish over mashed potatoes with a lemon creme sauce. Both were excellent.

We couldn’t find parking in Bayeux so decided to hit the D-Day sights early. We parked in the parking lot next to here and decided to grab a late lunch. Had fish and chips which hit the spot. We were seated quickly outside in spite...of it being a bit breezy and cold, we were comfortable.More

We stopped by for lunch today and ordered 12 pieces of oyster, salad with salmon plus fries as side dish with a bottle of sparkling water. The food is fresh. The bill was EUR59.9. Staff were responsive in general while a female staff was unpleasant,...maybe she was in a bad mood/too tried on that day.More

On our trip to the Normandy beaches in March, this was a great stop by Omaha for lunch. Very nice staff who spoke English and very friendly. Salads were great and huge. Fish and chips excellent.

This is a treat. You’d think it’s a touristy place, but the food is really good, if not top notch. Home made, tasty and fresh. Service was excellent, with helpful staff willing to speak English. The place has a nice feel to it.

Our dining experience was deeply overshadowed by a 55minute wait between our between our Starters and Main Course. The restaurant staff appeared flustered were clearly unable to cope with all tables - clearly the manager was prioritising profit over customer satisfaction. The food was average...but after such a long wait with 3 hungry children we will not be returning. The portion sizes of the desserts were ridiculously small for the prices charged. There was no explanation, apology or recognition from the staff regarding the delay. Over all an unpleasant experience that was over charged and clearly using its beach side location to take advantage of the tourists. We certainly won’t be returning.More

We have traveled all around France, including south of France, but this place cooks the best mussels, I swear. First, super fresh, second it’s not swimming in fat liquid - it’s just you and your mussels, nothing in between. I must say, my review must...be a little biased because our waiter Rafael, who is simply the coolest guy, treated us like royals! My hubby was as king all of these questions about calvados so Rafael gave us a taste of this most delicious vintage calvados (I believe it was around 50 years). I don’t even drink spirits but it was delicious! We later went to calvados distillery and were showing off the pictures of that 50 year old bottle there heheheh If you are in D Day beach area, this place is must see!More

The location (just behind the beach) is nice. Do not expect refined food, but for simple courses such as mussels it is excellent.
