Located in the Rarotonga Beach Resort, the restaurant is located over the water. The menu is quite varied and the food is wonderful. We spent three afternoons munching on appetizers and drinking beer. Staff were friendly and welcoming. You can swim/snorkel here or just lean...over the edge and watch the fish.More
We have just experienced 12 days of excellent service being provided by the first class staff. We ate here twice during our 7 nights on the island. First night as we arrived late and didn’t want to venture out again, and second time as we’d been out all day and were tired. The food was fine, fresh and tasty. Much smaller...portions than most other places we tried on the island for things like a fish sandwich. We would have tried somewhere else in the resort if there’d been other choices but both restaurant areas AND the restaurant next door in the adults only Sanctuary resort all had the exact same menu.
Cocktails a fairly standard price for most places on the island at $15-16 each.More

I stayed at the hotel for a week and attended a wedding held there. I dined mostly at Captain Andy’s. They also provided the wedding meal and canapés prior to reception. All bar one night I ate here. And had lunch a few times too....I loved the Island Fries and Ika Mata but wished there was more ‘island food’ available. The fish meals were mostly nice but hit and miss with how well they were cooked. Sometimes a little over cooked and disappointed when Yellow Fin tuna was on menu, it wasn’t seared and left with some pink, but instead it was grilled to white. I always ate so much dinner I couldn’t fit in dessert but finally had a go with the Blue Lagoon meringue dessert as it sounded yummy and looked good. Looked great but was a bit of a letdown in that it was just mushy and chewy instead of crispy meringues and basically just an unusual sundae vibe which wasn’t worth the hefty price tag.
Always great service though. Leilani was amazing. Friendly service and she even remembered my name and room number and always took care of me when I ate there. All staff friendly and boy do they work long hours - it seemed I’d see them in morning and then night!More
