I was prepared to find that this place had been over-hyped, but to my dleight I found that every 5 star review had it right. My first trip out here was with friends, but today I went solo. I was wondering if my experience would be different----some restaurants don't care too much for solo diners, but I was treated wonderfully. First, I need to point out that the service is among the best on the island. Knowledgeable and welcoming, but no air of stiffness. These people know what they are doing, and execute it perfectly. The food is also among the island's best. I particularly loved the presentations----everything was just lovely. I ordered only vegetarian fare, and cooking vegetables perfectly is an art form. The cauliflower appetizer could have been undercooked or mush----it's a fine line when cooking cauliflower----but it was done absolutely perfectly. The eggplant was perhaps the best I've ever had in my life----wonderful texture to go along with the fabulous flavour. This is a chef and kitchen staff who truly know what they are doing. As a boat captain myself, the fact that there is a boat rip involved is not meaningful to me. But I can understand that it adds to the ambiance for those who are unaccustomed to that. Is it the prettiest island or beach I've ever seen? Not by a long shot.....there are prettier beaches and areas in Antigua. But the genuinely nice service is what truly makes the place shine. I do think the prices are high, but everything is getting high around here. And I don't mind paying for good quality, so in spite of the prices the value of the food and service is in line with the prices.

We've been coming to Antigua regularly for over 24 years one of the attractions being to sample the varied food and drink options. As well as visiting our old favourites we like to try as many new places as possible and as you can imagine we have seen many come and go. One thing we have found is that high prices do not always mean high quality. This year, several people have said we must try The Hut and so today we did. Before arriving I must confess that I anticipated that it might be yet another over-hyped, overpriced restaurant of which there are several examples on Antigua. How wrong I was. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish with a quality of food and drink to match. The staff team, and there are a lot of them, were delightful and efficient. You might think that it would be very expensive but I would disagree. Certainly, if you booked a large cabana and ordered caviar and steak washed down with champagne you will be faced with a heavy bill however the menu has plenty of reasonably priced fine quality dishes and the drinks seemed good value. There is an inviting cocktail list and the US$18 price tag is around what I would expect to pay at home. If you want a special experience in Antigua I would have no hesitation in recommending The Hut

December 2024, we travelled from Canada, over 3000km to an All Inclusive resort on the tranquil, beautiful, Caribbean Island of Antigua. Mid vacation we ventured off our resort to experience the “Highlight,” of our Antigua vacation. “THE HUT,” in Little Jumby, Antigua has created an impressive restaurant & Island setting. The total experience from the entertaining taxi ride from our resort to the enthusiastic welcome from the mainland Jumby dock Hostess, followed by a short cruise, flawless and memorable! Upon arrival at “THE HUT,” Little Jumby we were greeted by a charming hostess and escorted to the Awe Inspiring Restaurant! “THE HUT,” Restaurant is spectacularly picturesque! The stunning ocean views provide the perfect ambiance to this tropical paradise. The cocktails are unique, the wine list superb, the seafood exceptional. I must mention the “Greek Salad,” which was uniquely delicious! Best of all, the “TEAM,” The Chefs, Bartenders, Waitresses, and a special salute to the Management that makes it ALL WORK! Absolutely BRILLIANT! So Grateful to “THE HUT,” Little Jumby, Antigua for an unforgettable memory and culinary experience!

31.12.2024 - booked 2 huts for large family group last minute for the daytime on New Year’s Eve. From arrival at the ferry building on the mainland till our return we were treated to amazing hospitality and service. Everything was perfectly presented and the pre-booked buffet style lunch was the best food we had in Antigua. Adults enjoyed the cocktails, kids loved the toys and games available in the huts. This is a perfect place for a day relaxing in the sun.

We booked the Hut for a lunch time birthday celebration for my husband . We had a table of 15 but the food ( pre ordered ) was brilliantly dealt with , as well as being delicious ! Tamaza was looking after our table and she was amazing - all our wine glasses were kept fully topped up and she looked after us beautifully all afternoon . All the staff we came into contact were amazing ! The DJ was great and we danced the afternoon away ! The setting for the Hut is idyllic - over looks turquoise blue sea! What a place to celebrate a special birthday . Thank you Tamaza and the HUT !!!

Heaven on earth. The Hut is the best restaurant I have ever been to. The food is outstanding, the music is class, there are so many happy members of staff who love their jobs and the design of the restaurant itself is a work of art. The photos of The Hut don't do it justice, don' think twice about going, you will never forget it.

Perfect way to spend an afternoon/evening! We arrived at The Hut to celebrate a friend’s 70th birthday. From the moment we stepped on the boat for the transfer from the jetty to the perfect “Maldivian” like island, we were very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for any of your attentive team and they were always smiling! The food was creative, very tasty and beautifully presented and every course was explained. Our drinks were discreetly topped up and I didn’t feel we were rushed in anyway. The whole restaurant had a happy vibe which really took off once the DJ and trumpet player got us all up dancing, everyone mixed and it was great when The Hut team joined us on the dance floor. The Hut setting is on a perfect, sandy island surrounded by beautiful turquoise seas with cabanas etc available should you just want to relax. If you go to Antigua for a holiday/short break, you must include a trip to The Hut, but book early as it is very popular and you wouldn’t want to miss out!

Had lunch here today for my husband’s birthday. A real treat. Restaurant only opened five weeks ago but the operation is very smooth and well organised. Boat transfer from the mainland is quick and efficient. All the staff were lovely and the general manager Alan took time to have a chat with us. Food was great. Good selection of cocktails. There’s no rush to leave the island. You can sit in what they call the garden at the restaurant end of the beach and it looked as though there were sun loungers further round. If you book early you may be able to reserve a cabana or beach hut but there aren’t many of them. The only thing we weren’t keen on was the piped music. Much too loud and repetitive. Replace with something quieter and more subtle and it would all be perfect.

My family & I were lucky enough to discover The Hut to enjoy a wonderful evening whilst we were on holiday in Antigua last Saturday. This is truly a very special place that has only recently opened and luckily my son found it on TikTok and Instagram and he knew of their other property “ the hut” on the Isle of Wight in the UK. We went on the Saturday evening as they had advertised live music and wow we weren’t disappointed the band 1761 were out of this world . Brilliant singers and musicians and had everybody up dancing from the very beginning to the very end of the evening. To get to Jumbly Island you travel on a very special private boat that takes clients backwards and forwards throughout the day and night and it is only a 5 minute sail . You arrive at this incredible island that has the wow factor. Very welcoming friendly and professional staff and the venue has had no expense spared, it really is spectacular from the furniture, crockery and the surroundings. A great happy vibe whether you’re on the beach, in the garden or in the restaurant. The food was incredible with an extensive cocktail list and wine menu. You really cannot fail to enjoy yourself. Everyone there had a fabulous evening from young to old you are all welcomed and feel part of the relaxed happy vibe. We were celebrating birthdays. Do not miss this special place if you get to Antigua - absolutely brilliant.

This restaurant was horrible absolutely the worst. The employees need proper training on service, they ignored our table and we were there for more than 20 minutes, no water, no greeting and no drinks was offered. The hostess told all Caucasian farewell and we were people of color and the young lady saw us and made a scored face we felt racially profiled with her behavior. The receptionist at the front was absolutely lovely she was the only one who apologized, she went to management and they refused to apologize to us and just sent a message saying we can either leave or come back.

Easily the best lunch/experience I have had in living memory. I don't write reviews, but felt compelled to after such a phenomenal day. A short boat ride over to Little Jumby and you are transported to paradise. The food is out of this world, the cocktails first class, the wine list superb and best of all the staff are all so wonderfully welcoming and ensure that you have a day that you will not forget. I came for lunch and wish I'd stayed for dinner, or packed a tent and stayed all week. Believe the hype in the press - a visit to The Hut will be a day to remember and is worth a 3,000 mile flight alone! Thank you to everyone there for such a special and memorable day. I cannot wait to return!

Wow… We were very impressed, and what an impressive restaurant and island setting The Hut Little Jumby has created. The overall design of everything is very well considered, and classy, with incredible views and a menu full of delights. The wine list is decent and you definitely feel as though you have found somewhere extra special indeed. The Hut team were super friendly and attentive, and could not do enough to help. Unfortunately during our visit the till system was having a few issues, so the service was slightly slower than might have been expected. However the new team did their absolute best and this was a highlight of our Antigua vacation.

We absolutely loved Little Hut. The excitement starts when the taxi dropped us at the dock and then we got on a very smart boat across to the little island where the beach club and restaurant is. All the staff were so friendly and helpful at the dock, on the boat and of course at the restaurant. The food was so so good. The best we have had in Antigua so far. It was really fresh, delicious and imaginative. We had the snapper and the lobster which were both amazing The wine list and cocktails were also very good. The wine list was very interesting and had some Of my favourites from around the world including Leuwin Estates and Planeta. I can highly recommend for anyone-families, couples or on your own. Really great!

From the moment we stepped on the boat, the welcome and service was excellent. Every single member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly our waitress Karlee and the Director, Steve, couldn’t have been more helpful or made us feel more helpful. It’s a fantastic location, great food with an excellent menu and a great vibe all round. We made our next reservation as we were leaving!

The “hut” is a boujee place with slow service. Yet the food, even though pricey, was the best we had in our 5 days trip to Antigua. Negative: two mid size barges obscure the views in the bay. Apparently they work there to deepen the channel. The setting is good and maybe in a year or two will be better.
