Great lunch. Boom just re-opened. I had the lobster sandwich, my wife had the steak sandwich. Both of us had fries/chips. Food was great. View of English Harbor and Nelson's dockyard was fantastic! Highly recommend this place...next time we will spend the afternoon there.

We had never heard of this amazing little place and found it purely because it was the first place at Nelson’s Dockyard we could get a drink. Had we of known about it we would have bought swimmers and spent a day! Amazing food, amazing...More

A trip to Nelsons dock yard is almost incomplete without a tiny boat ride across to Boom. It’s a great spot to eat and laze in the sun with a spectacular view of English harbour. The food and the service are great and it really...More

Good food, relaxed dining. One side faces the pool but try and sit overlooking Nelsons harbour. One gripe they only sever bottled water- all the way from Italy!

Very nice food and excellent service. Best service we received in Antigua. Very special spot and great guests too which we appreciated once arriving at The Verandah.

Taking a small boat over from Nelsons Dockyard to the stepping stones of Boons was one of the highlights of my Antigua experience - look around at the colours, the sumptuous yatchs, a picturesque building 'pillars restaurant' and then step into Boons' an open air...More

We had lunch here during a summer vacation. Summer is off-season so the choices are limited. Boom was open since it caters for the clients of nearby Admiral’s inn, which is connected through a small boat. But you can also drive there and take a...More

Spend a little time checking out the history of the harbour then take the quick (1 minute ride) over this restaurant. We had a fantastic lunch here and crab cake salad was perfection. Good wine list and plenty of options.

It is hard to beat the elevated harbourside position of The Boom at Gunpowder House - a remodeled 18th century Gunpowder store - for a scenic dining venue. The outdoor covered dining terrace and bar are adjacent to an infinity-edged pool overlooking spectacular Nelson's Dockyard, creating a wonderful upscale setting to enjoy a delicious lunch. The Boom menu highlights fresh, locally sourced produce with seafood favorites such as Caribbean Fish Cakes and Lobster Salad but meat lovers will not be disappointed by the Truffle Aioli Steak Sandwich and Peppered Tournedos.
