Stopped in for dinner while on this trip. Food was really good; I liked my Mutton Rogan Josh. My wife also liked her Chicken Tikka. There was only one guy in the front, who was host & server. While the place isn't all that big (maybe a dozen tables or so), I think there was only one other person working... More

The ambience is understated, but the food is fabulous. The staff is pleasant and attentive. We make it for dinner every year we visit Aruba.

I have only eaten Indian food one other time. I purchased a frozen 2 dinners of Chicken tiki marsala with saffron rice from Costco for about $5.99. While vacationing in Aruba we wanted something different, so we went to Taj Mahal. Actually , The food was good, but I feel very overpriced. Even the bread was extra. Our bill was... More

Most places here are tourist places with sub par food. I've already eaten here twice and it's amazing!!!! This is authentic exhilarating food that I'll never forget. Ditch the resort food and tourist traps eat here instead - Carmel Ceravolo

When my husband and i decided to have Indian food there after our horrible experience at their sister branch the Tandoor. When we entered the Taj's door we were greeted by a lady server. She seemed to be a bit stoic but after my husband engaged her in conversation a smile emerged. The food is excellent and her service great.... More

The food is okay. They had one server/cashier and were catering to a family affair. She seemed tense. If you like waiting for service or asking for things repeatedly, this is THE place for you. Sadly, we will not go back. People choose to eat out for a little bit of hospitality and good service. Without hospitality, I can stay... More

We were looking for something different and love Indian food so decided to give Taj Mahal a try, and found it a little disappointing. The appetizer was wonderful, the curry main dishes a bit less so ... the nan is little hard ... not bad, but would not rank among the better Indian restaurants in cities with a lot of... More

Went there on a lunch date w/bf who was visiting. Service was not really friendly and it took ages for the food to be ready. Food was pretty good although they didn't have chapatis and the dal we ordered was soupy. The goat cheese in creamy spinach was really good. For an Indian food place and the ambiance/decor/place I found... More

I asked for a small daal, some curried vegetables and chapatis. I ended with roti - because they had no whole wheat flour - a very soupy daal with a sour lingering note I couldn't place. The vegetables lacked the promised ginger. The seasoning was bland, maybe because of sourcing issues. Definitely way too expensive. The following day I had... More

The Roti is whole wheat flour bread. The cramps on the following day does not imply that food from Taj Mahal was bad. More

We stopped in on a Wednesday evening about 8pm. There were two other tables finishing up when we arrived, who were gone within 20 minutes. The starter spicy poppadom was excellent, the daal and tandoori were also superb. Vindaloo, was meh. The lady serving (probably owner?) turned the happy sitar music off after the other guests left, turned an indian... More
