We decided to try this restaurant because it was next-door from our hotel, the food was delicious and the place has an extremely beautiful cozy decor. We considered that in the island there are better options for the money we spent here, nothing wrong, all...More

We have been going to Aruba for a number of years and have often heard rave reviews of Chalet Suisse. So this time we tried it. I have to say it did not live up to my expectations. It was OK but with all of...More

A little pricey but definitely worth it. Nice selection of appetizers, meats and seafood. Steaks were cooked to perfection and desserts were delicious. Also a great view of the Caribbean Sea from across the street. Will definitely visit on next trip back.

Went there 3 times within 2 weeks with groups of 10, 14 and 15. No one was disappointed or walked away hungry. Food was excellent as always. Many had 12 oz lobster tails and many had steaks. Others had wiener schnitzel, beef stroganoff and other...More

We've been coming here for years, and it never fails to be great. Every time. Very accommodating, the manager/greeter always makes you feel like you're special. We've gotten many different things (steaks, etc. all great ) but the schnitzel is the star. Considering the atmosphere...More

Stepping into this place is like walking into a "continental" restaurant from 1982. It's really funny at first. Within a few minute that atmosphere starts feeling really comfortable and when you taste the food, you remember why places like this were such hits for so...More

No, no specific dress code. I was wearing nice "dress" shorts and a nice polo. No jacket or long pants required.

It is quite far, and in some parts of the road there is no sidewalk. I recommend you take a taxi. It will probably cost you up to US$10. After your meal the restaurant will call a taxi to take you back! Enjoy!
