A wonderful dinner experience on the beach in Aruba. Great food great service and wonderful views of the sunset. Free parking and easily located off the main road near the cruise terminal and the port area.

Near the airport – you can watch flights arriving as you dine al fresco. The food and service were very good. Safe travels! ... Mark & Dana ...

We visited here July 2013 - This restaurant is just amazing. I had read about it back in the UK before flying out for our honeymoon. Upon mentioning it to our Thomson rep she called up and made a reservation for us. Upon arrival we both had a glass of complimentary champagne, our rep must have told them we were... More

Thus place is very romantic and beautifull for pictures and sunset. The service is on but not professional. The food is ok they are a lot of places in Aruba that is better for food. Very expensive for the quality and amount of you get.

Enjoyed fresh seafood with my toes in the sand. Glorious view. Go at sunset! Possibly my favorite restaurant on the island!

Dinner on the Beach with planes flying over head? Yes Please! The food was wonderful as was the service. Only downside is that it is not really next to anything, so a cab is necessary to get there and back.

Visiting Barefoot is a must. The food and drinks were great, the ceviche was divine. We had a party on nine, and the service was great. Eating on the beach watching the sunset was an experience you have to have while in Aruba.

With no offer of a wine list, we thought that the five wines listed in the menu was all that they had. The specialty drinks were weak, candy sweet (Barefoot Special), and pricey. They offer a 3 course fix price meal for $44.50 USD. There are minimal appetizers, and the tomato soup tasted like ketchup. My fish combo platter had... More

Description
Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and team, with some of the old school favorites as well as locally influenced dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!
