After several stops here over the years, must say this cafe has the best ambiance, coffee/tea/drinks and snacks in town. The owner roasts all her own beans downstairs so the coffee is fresh, full bodied and rich, even the decaf ! Cakes, croissant and scones...More

Great location and wonderful staff. It’s a quirky, delightful place to meet a friend or sip posh coffee and read. It’s popular with all sorts of people—small children, shoppers, office workers...can get crowded, no seats to be found.

We enjoyed the coffee and tea and being able to sit out back and watch the harbour and the sky. There is wi fi and you can buy coffee beans as well.

Rock Island is a funky local cafe in Hamilton that offers a cozy ambience and excellent coffee. Staff are friendly and hip. Great spot to sit and read a book or the newspaper.

Rock Island Coffee is synonymous with Hamilton. It's sort of the hip place to hang out, drink coffee, meet friends, discuss art, politics, life in general. A very laid back kind of place that has thankfully remained unchanged through the years. Coffee is always awesome....More

Great (I mean *really* great) coffee and cakes, funky decor and wifi. What more do you need for a perfect hideaway between meetings? My home away from home.

They make their own coffee, Tock Island Coffee and it was beautiful! Nice relaxed vibe in the cafe! Free WiFi and a sun trap outside if you want to soak up the sun. Very quirkie inside.

Only cakes and cookies when I visited, but I don't think they mind if you bring a sandwich purchased elsewhere.
