I liked everything! The food was affordable and very very delicious, presentation nice, atmosphere lovely, service excellent. The experience was so good I would have gladly paid more.

The menu was quite uninspiring and the portion sizes were quite small. The best thing was the decor.

Marketfive by John Hazzard is not a typical resturant one would expect to find in a city area. For starters it is not a large resturant but the ambiience is so captivating and relaxing that that you you don't noitce the size of the place and you tned to forget that you are actually in the city. The resturant is located upstairs Satjay Bridgetwon Centre. The centre is a small mall with a variety of small shop to suit the pocket of any average to acentric travelller. Market five can be found upstairs in the food court area to your right. Upon entering you are greeted by very pleasant satff who are eager to serve. The seating is an array of comforatble side sofas with tables complimented with stylish chairs in various colors which assentuate the modern carribbean decor of the entire restaurant. The menu is a combination of an a la carte, inclusive of lunch package and daily specials. THe cost for lunch would cost you on average $20.00US depending on your appetite. The cuisine is a mondern Caribbean with a twist whiich is John Hazzard's the Chef and owner of Marrket five specialty. I found this resturant to be one of the few places a perosn can really sit and enjoy a quite leisure lunch after a hectic day of shopping or a stressful day at the office. A real getaway from the city without leaving the city. Oh I forgot to mention there is also a bar and lounge area. The bar menu has a variety of cocktials such as Income Tax and Bridgetown Cool Down, which are more popular as well as your traditional blended friut drinks and mixes. A definite must try and see for yourself resturant.
