The scene is incredibly impressive, with the wave crashing right below you. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like that before. The food and drinks were also good. Not giving 4 or 5 stars since our waitress was not attentive and when she did...show up, was with an attitude and blew out like she didn’t want to be there. No niceties at all!! OK. We had a great evening regardless of our waitress.More

Excellent service received from the beginning as I booked my reservations online. Rosita was efficient and timely with her responses. The service on the actual day was nothing less than amazing from the hostess as we entered and from all who we came into contact...with us throughout dining. Food arrived quickly and it was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Will definitely be going back for my birthday celebrations. Keep up the great work!!!More

Although Champers was some distance away from where we staying we thought that as it was rated No 1 on the island it must be worth a visit. The restaurant is semi circular, very large and it is built on an outcrop of rocks with...the sea about 40ft directly below it. It has its own car park directly opposite it. As we were eating early we were shown to our table which was on the front row at the edge of the rocks. At times during the evening some of the spray from the water hitting the rocks would rise up to our level. It was quite stunning. After our normal predinner drinks my wife chose the duo of smoked salmon & grouper which was delicious, slightly salty and served with some melba toasts which looked & tasted like they were bought in, lettuce and a creamy dill sauce. I chose the crab pancake. This was served in an oval ramekin with a square crepe in the middle full of crab meat and covered in a hot cheese sauce. It was delightful. For our mains my wife chose the coconut shrimp whilst I chose the pork tenderloin. The coconut shrimp of which they were 4 were again very good in a light, very coconuty batter & a lovely dipping sauce. My pork tenderloin was excellent larges slices of tenderloin not pink which is how I like it served on a bed of mashed potato covered in a lovely gravy/jus with carrots & zucchini. We finished with a shared bread & butter pudding, again lovely . The wine list is extensive focussing on champagnes and sparkling wines but with also a good selection of wines from around the world. We chose a Sancerre rose for a change which was reasonably priced & very good. Overall the food was very good but no better than some of the restaurants along the west coast. However what let the whole evening down was the service. Although the restaurant was busy all the dishes were served in a timely manner. However our server was totally disinterested and clearly just going through the motions. There was no talk, no interaction nor any response not even a You’re Welcome as she plonked the plates down on our table. It really was very disappointing and certainly unless we were staying close to Champers we wouldn’t bother making the journey to eat there againMore

Beautiful entranceway. Friendly, fast service. We had a waterside table with lovely sunset view. Food was good. Celebrated birthday and had nice touches at no extra charge. Good cocktails! Wouldn’t be in a rush to bring toddler here.

Stunning birthday celebration. Amazing food, wonderful service and fabulous view. Thank you so much for your team for making my birthday so special. We both loved it. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended. We both had the mushroom risotto to start, then I had...the beef and my husband had the lamb. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you.More

Right on the waters edge, the food is first class and so is the service. I would say its every bit as good, if not better then The Cliff!

This was our first daytime visit and the waterside table view was beautiful. Service and food were as good as ever. It was my daughter's birthday and the menu was even personalised for her - a lovely gesture. They also presented her with a mini...birthday cake.More

We went twice to Champers during our three month stay in Barbados. Absolutely love it both times. The food was spot-on. I'm still dreaming about the coconut cream pie. The service was excellent too. The second visit was our anniversary and we were treated so...well: a waterside table, a personalized menu, a special dessert. I'll remember it as one of the best anniversaries ever. Table tip: Book well in advance if you want a water-side table. If you don't get a waterside table, go anyhow. None of the tables are far from the water, and after dark you can't see the sea anyhow. Niggle: A substitution in my salad. I do sympathize that you can't always get all the things on a island. But when the salad arrived without the arugula highlighted in the menu, I wished I'd been told in advance that it would be substituted by a different green.More

A very large group of us had a fabulous dinner here for my sis birthday. We sat upstairs. I ate here a few times before but have never been up there. It was truly lovely! Staff were attentive and the courses were served without a...long wait. Every dish was delightful and everyone had a great time! I recommend this restaurant highly! However beware of the drinks they are expensive! The restaurant had their Covid protocols in place. A beautiful evening. Thanks again.More

One of the best fine dining experiences on the island. From the time you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with the most welcoming smile from the host, the staff are friendly and engaging. The ambiance is amazing with the waves crashing at the bottom...of the cliff below. The menu has a wide variety and as it was my birthday it was personalized with my name. The food was amazing the crab crepe was divine and the pan roasted chicken breast was delicious. Last but not least the warm bread pudding was heaven and would recommend to anyone. Thank you for such a great experience and keep up the phenomenal service.More
