Stop by, have a fantastic milkshake and talk with Norman, the proprietor. Very nice man and relaxed atmosphere. It doesn't get any more island original than here...poco poco!

We stopped by Le-Ma-Se for a famous milk shake (cherry bourbon), then splurged on cheese and meat pastechis (savory hand pies) and krokets. Norman was kind enough to share some delicious pumpkin soup with peppers, as well as spiced cake with us while we sat and talked. A short stop ended up turning into a wonderful hour relaxing, eating wonderful... More

We stopped for a drink since we had made a longer car trip than planned;) Le-Ma-Se is a very nice place. Norman is a very friendly man. Very relaxed and in for a chat. We only had time for drinks but we have heard that he makes the best pumpkin soup ever so if we are around again we will... More

I had heard of Le-Ma-Se but had not been. What a wonderful surprise to finally eat at this little local soup/sandwich & shake place in the quaint village of Rincon, Bonaire! We had the pumpkin/squash soup & as we would say back in New Orleans - Normen put his foot in it - delicious. This great soup filled me up so... More

Get out of Kralendjik and visit Rincon. The owner at Le-Ma-Se is very nice and serves excellent ice cream and shares. The place is relaxing and a great stop while visiting the island.

Ordered a pastry and he offered us to try his soup. Best soup I ever eaten! For al information about Bonaire or Rincon, ask... More

Ok, you've been diving the north shore (Thousand Steps, Karpata) and are now driving through Rincon to get back 'home'. Stop by Le-Ma-Se for the perfect milkshake and support a local business. We've enjoyed the milkshakes here for many years now. The owner is super friendly!

Stopped in on a hot Saturday afternoon. Had some cheese and beef pastiche and a cold beer. Fantastic local food - then Normen brought out some of his world famous squash soup. It is amazing - we wound up with a quart "to go". Never even made it half way back to town. Beware - the cat doesn't like you......... More

We met Norman who was so sweet and asked us to visit his store in Rinchon. We decided we would. We asked for his home made ice cream. He asked if we would try his soup. Why not? It was so delish...it is not a fancy place but you will feel good meeting Norman, a true local. Don't be rushed... More

This is a very casual place, that hardly looks open from the street. Don't let that stop you, park on the right side and go in. The menu as posted is the starting point for a conversation with Norman, who is very fun to talk to. Typically ingredients for this or that are missing, so just ask him what's available... More
