Our dive master Carlos' family owns the restaurant and he arranged a shuttle bus to pick up about fifteen of us from the Divi resort. I ordered the whole fried red snapper and it was great. With this large of a group we managed to order a variety of main dishes and everyone loved their food. I tasted my neighbor's... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat at when I visit Bonaire. The food never disappoints, it's affordable, the people are very friendly. It isn't one of those super fancy looking restaurants, but the food is very delicious.

Nice place to eat local food, very wide choice between fish, poultry, beef. Very friendly staff, funny air conditioning: fans everywhere on walls.

Only drawback to Bonaire is the often mediocre and overpriced restaurant food - Mi Banana solved both problems. Serves local cuisine that is well prepared and fresh - owners are very friendly and prices in line with quality.

Based on a recommendation, we went to Mi Banana and were happy we did, as we never would have known about this place otherwise. The place and the food are simple, but the service was good and we enjoyed our meal. We had the mixed seafood grill and it was delicious. It was big enough for 2 people to share,... More

Haven eaten at Mi Banana a few times. Food is always local and fresh. The owner is always on hand, and even thought language was a little bit of a problem we all had a delioucis Sea Bass, and great Coconut cake!!

We went to Mi Banana on the recommendation of some divers we met on a dive who have been going to Bonaire for 20 years. I would highly recommend this restaurant (which is not in the downtown area, but worth the short drive), to anyone who likes good local food, without a lot of fuss, Yes, it's not super fancy... Certainly nothing to rave about. Excellent fish gumbo, but the main meal was uninspired. Portions were good. Local ambience.

We had a very filling lunch. The waitress was good to ask a customer to assist when we ordered. It was not printed on the menu that 2 sides came with the meal and the menu had prices for sides, so we were confused. We thought the sides were an additional charge. The customer cleared things up for us. Very... More

We enjoyed plantains, taro, mahi, wahoo, all at a reasonable price for lunch. Service is great and you dine with the locals.
