Very basic locals place but don't let the looks scare you off. Fantastic south American foods. Very reasonable prices, very authentic flavors.

The grouper Ceviche was excellent. The sauces served with the dishes are great. Amstel costs 2$ a bottle. Good and price worthy.

I didn't really enjoy the food..it was a bit tasteless. The server was quite helpful and attentive. The food being cooked in the kitchen was quite annoying to me because the door was open and all the food smell and smoke emanating was bit over powering to those sitting waiting for dinner to the point I had to change seats.... I finally mad it to El Fogon on my 5th trip to Bonaire. It's a bit outside of town, but worth the trip. It's one of the few restaurants that serve conch. You won't be disappointed.

This is a straight forward Colombian restaurant. Nothing fancy. But the food is really finger licking good. The special today was Red Snapper which was a complete fish which tasted delicious. We also had three kind of meats. Chicken, beef and a chorizo sausage. The meat is already seasoned but you also get three small containers; one with a pica... More

We had a sweet waitress, sat outside, and a great attitude to start but my chicken breast was well seasoned but TOUGH and his beef was even tougher. This place is humble and off the beaten path and we wanted to be pleasantly surprised. That just did not happen. Worse, it was NOT inexpensive to eat here. Actually, you can... More

My husband and I ate here during our week in Bonaire. The place was not busy so we sat at the front. My husband ordered filet steak with fries and fried plantain (you can order 2 of rice, french fries, yucca or fried plantain) and I ordered the Land and Sea which came with a steak, 3 shrimp and good... If you want a taste of authentic Columbian cooking and eat where the locals eat, this is the place, no fancy decor, just real good food.

As a regular visitor of Bonaire, I've been to plenty of restaurants on the island. This one, however, is a staple of my visits. The food is unbelievably good in it's simplicity. Just great local/Colombian food with a side and a simple salad. The 'Carne a la placha' is delicious, 'beaten' and prepared fresh, 'sop'i mondongo' is to die for,... More
