We chanced upon this place on our first night in Havana, we just stopped in for a drink first, the staff were so friendly they have a decent wine list (Vina Maipo 14 CUC)and beer prices were good (1.5CUC) so we went back to eat a couple nights later. Some of the staff spoke very good English and the manager... More

This place is off the beaten path, in San Lazaro avenue. If you make it to Havana, by all means, go eat here! You will not be disappointed with the food, the huge portions and the friendly service. We're talking a full lobster tail for 12 CUC or a whole LEG of lamb for 8 CUC.

We lived nearby and thought we might as well try this restaurant. The overall experience was average. The food is cuban and of decent quality, not more. The portions are brutally big which resulted in a lot of good getting wasted during our dinner. If you go here, don't order the starters cause you will be full before even starting... More

The place is all red from outside, even the waitresses are dressed in red/black. Interior has very nice wall paintings of gypsies, the food was tasty and we paid about 70 CUC for Dinner of 6 persons. We ordered common plates shared by all which was a bit confusing for the waitresses but they managed everything with style and smile... More

Lovely restaurant on San Lazaro. Good value for money. Good service and friendly people. Being going there for years because it is such good value for good food. Not too loud and the service is alway good.

Food is not the main attraction in Cuba, and it's usually a waste of money to eat expensively as the quality is generally poor. So this place (which is opposite the Museum of the Revolution on the east side) is a great find. The sandwich 'La Gitana' is good, as is the pollo grille - although some cooks are better... More

This wonderful restaurant is tucked inside a very unassuming building in central Havana, just outside Old Havana and a stone's throw from the seaside Malecon. The dining room is very attractive and quiet. The service is extremely good, even when crowded. As is the case all over Cuba, kids are MOST welcome. They will faun over them and probably try...
