It is located on the corner of Galiano and San Lazaro Streets. They serve mainly Cuban food, well prepared and good service.

The only place we found in Havana where the food & service matched European standards . Set back one block behind Hotel Deauville off the Malecon , the restaurant is small and early sitting is recommended as it soon gets busy & the best tables are at a premium . We had the best Mojitos there while in Cuba .

This restaurant was next to our hotel, and we made a point to check it out before we left Cuba because it looked interesting, hip, and was always busy for dinner. We wished we had eaten there more times during our stay, rather than the last night. The dinner was one of our better meals in Havana. It was good,... More

Dining in Cuba is very hit and miss. Castas & Tal is consistently good and became my default dinner venue because the pricing and quality were so consistent and because the staff were very friendly and efficient, something that was was sorely lacking in even the "best" hotels and restaurants. The restaurant is centrally located-

We really loved this place. The food was great authentic Cuban food done simply and well. We only managed to eat here the one night as they had a few issues with water on the other nights but it was definitely one of the best places we went to.

I have eaten in this restaurant many times - it being the closest to me. The food is generally but not always good. However yesterday the grilled fish was inedible and was sent back. It tasted rank and dry. So far from fresh. My guest who ordered the fish was pregnant and immediately felt ill. I tried a mouthful which... More

Slightly out the way but great stop on any walk down the mercades. Amazingly priced for what you get. Mixed tapas starter was lovely. Nice and clean, water cheaper than the local shops.

Located a block across from the Malecon, stumbled upon this little gem. Cuban food done extremely well and reasonably priced to boot. The lady who served us was totally amazing and the recommended dishes didn't disappoint. Restaurant was small, cosy with plenty of atmosphere. I wish it was my local!

The food was great! They elevated Cuban food to a gourmet level. I've had rice and beans all my life but this was special. It had a little something something that I'm still trying to figure out. The shrimp were juicy, the mojito was smooth. The flan had coconut undertones and was unique and presentation was mouth watering. Also the... More
