We loved Nao! It has a beautifully lit laneway to sit in, the staff are lovely and the food is delightful. We had the plantain baskets (an entree) twice, the ropa vjeja and the lamb special, which was a whole lamb leg. Overall a great experience that I'd recommend.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we ended up eating here for lunch, dinner, and dessert. We ended up with the special grilled seafood for two for one meal and it was fantastic! Great seafood! We had appetizers for another meal - make sure you get the yucca rellena (or yucca fritters - they were outstanding!) and lastly,... More

What a pleasant find during our tour of Old Havana. The place was très chic, très hip, très sexy, and after a day of "old" très new. All modern fixtures, WC service, bar, menu, etc. Staff was bright and attentive. Great place to decompress, check your Wifi, and people watch.

We stopped by here for drinks while we were sightseeing. We stopped and looked at the menu which had very similar prices for the area. There was a little group outside playing live music which caused us to stop there for a drink. We had the usual mojito and cuba libre. Prices were average for the drinks (at around $6... More

Nao is tucked away at the end of a small street right near the waterfront. I ate at one of several tables outside, but there are others inside. I began with the "Huge" mojito, which was and was pretty good (a little fizzy). A band of two guys and a tall rather lovely woman was setting up feet away from... More

Found this little cafe on a hot day in a side alley. The drinks were amazing, so cheap and the seafood paella was wonderful. A small group of muscians played beside us Cuba music. Wonderful way to spend the afternoon

Nao! Our first, last & best meal in Havana! The food really is excellent; we ate at several places in Havana (including fine dining at La Guarida) and i have to say Nao is much better. Nao lies on a charming little street in old Havana (Havana Vieja) just off a square with cute little antique stalls. Super friendly smiling... More

We had been wandering around and thought we would take a break for coffee. We happened to walk past this bar and a man asked us if we wanted coffee so we sat down. We were not offered a menu - and in hindsight we should have asked. We ordered 2 coffees which were nice. We asked for the bill... More

NAO was recommended by our Tour Guide so we thought we would give it a go. The food was edible, but incredibly salty and the Mixed Seafood Platter that I shared with my son was overcooked. The restaurant is on two floors and it is small. There were more musicians than there were diners and because it is a small... More

We had two meals here, one in the evening, Langosta and the other lunch. Neither disappointed. Very friendly staff and lovely decor. The restaurant is on two levels and also some tables out in the street.
