The owner (Ever) and I have become good friends since…if you want to experience the best cuisine with an impeccable service, this IS the place to go…the food is exquisite, the staff take to heart the quality of the food and ensuring that your experience is one to remember…I come here over and over again and I feel like family and am consistently delighted and impressed with the food and service. Quietly nestled in the heart of Varadero, this beautifully decorated terrace will not disappoint and the price for the quality and fresheness of the food will leave you more than satisfied…thanks to the hard working staff, waiters and the detail to attention that they offer to make sure that your dining experience is one to make you want to come back for more…Ever, you continue to make this restaurant one of the BEST in varadero…I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to experience the authentic Cuban cuisine and flare that will guarantee to make you smile, and have a great dining experience…open to anyone who is in town and very accommodating to solo travellers and the LGBTQ2S+ community…

Great place. Great price. Canadian, American and Cuban cash accepted. Owner present and very very friendly. 2 starters, 3 beers, 1 cola, a lobster pizza (huge, 10" x 12") and a plate of grilled lobsters (1 and a half) plus tip....$62 US.

Recommended by new friends staying on our resort, the Pink Cow did not disappoint! The rooftop terrace is cozy and inviting, and the young men running this restaurant were warm and accommodating even though we did not have reservations. The drinks were delicious and my lobster dinner was the best I've had in Varadero! It was so big I couldn't finish it actually! We came back for a second time during our week and this time I got the pizza. Everything was so well done. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal off resort.

My last two visits to this once exceptional restaurant were in April and in July of this year. Previous visits before April were impressive. Great food and service not to mention the great assortment of well prepared drinks. It has always been a little more expensive to eat there but well worth it.
But my last visit, in July 2024, was a disappointment. I have had the pizza there before and it's been top notch. During my recent visit the ham pizza was worst than what I would expect at Dominoes. Particularly disappointing was the crust which wasn't fresh and had a cardboard texture I normally expect from Dominoes.
The clumsy waiter didn't help things either...bringing me a fork when I needed a spoon or the presenting me with two dishes that hadn't been properly cleaned.
Considering there were few patrons this sloppiness is inexcusable.
The drinks were excellent as usual but I was there primarily to eat. This is a restaurant after all but when your cow can't provide good milk it's time to send them to the cow palace in the fields.

My favorite restaurant in Varadero where I went relatively often. After an absence, I came back today and left when I saw the USD bill. It actually irritates me when we are in a country where the currency is CUP. It is an encapsulated way of inflating prices . It is true that many of the incomes have to be paid in USD but it is also true that much is paid in CUP in addition to salaries, taxes, energy, etc.
As I came as I came. Without food is hardly come back. To the tourists, I inform that there are many restaurants with the quality of this, where you pay in national currency and cheaper.

Suggestive location with a beautiful airy terrace on the main street of Varadero.
Friendly and prepared staff.
The offer is affected by all the limitations that you will find in Cuba in this period but despite this we ate some excellent meat-based dishes.

We ate here mid day. It was quiet. The roof top terrace was a sweet spot. Per Cuban usual, they didn’t have many of the items on the menu but the fish and pasta we did get was very well prepared and great portions of seafood! It was a really good meal for a good price. It was a nice casual spot with good food.

We found this little gem just a few steps from Club Tropical. My gal ordered the seafood platter, which ought to be named "Seafood Banquet". I enjoyed the vegetarian pizza so much, I returned the next day for the Margarita. In fact, half of that pizza was my airline food upon my return flight. Be warned, the pizzas are 12" x 12" and you'll be more than satisfied.

This was by far the best meal that we had during our 9 night visit to Veradero (stayed at the Sanctuary at Grand Memories). Start with the bruchetta which consists of garlic-soaked toast and fresh toppings. I had the fried shrimp and the plate was loaded with at least 50 shrimp. My travelling companions also enjoyed their meals a great deal. The service was attentive. A 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill. The only downside is that it is located up a steep staircase and is definitely not easy to access for anyone with knee/hip issues or in a wheelchair.

We have spent 12 days in Varadero in April 2022. Our daily dinner in the Vaca Rosada was always the highlight. Service and food have always been excelent. Especially the vegetarian Pizza and all dishes with camarones have been so tasty.
Alejandro prepared the best Daiquiri Frappé we ever had in Cuba. (We visit Cuba vor 30 years).
So, thanks a lot to the owner and the staff of the Vaca Rosada and always good luck to you.

By far the best meal of our trip and we were staying in an AI resort that was supposed to have great food. Nice rooftop atmosphere and attentive, friendly service. Extensive menu (even for the picky eater in our group) with reasonable prices and portion sizes. Our meal for four including excellent drinks, bruschetta (best we have every had!!) two orders of shrimp, chicken cordon bleu and pizza. Total cost with tax was 50 CUC and well worth it. If you get tired of AI food and want an experience with great service, food and rooftop setting head here. Easy to get to from hop-on, hop-off bus (opposite side of the road from the beach) just look for the Calle 21 marker at the corner.

Pre arranged our Anniversary Dinner while still in Canada via e mail with the owner Ever. He was amazing, offered some complimentry items and surprised us with an cake at the end of the meal.
The food came out as pre ordered in a timely manner without any errors. Food was delicious as always and our guest enjoyed the experience.
This has always been our little gem of a roof top restaurant. When we are all allowed to travel again please give them a try, you wont be dissapointed .

I really like this place! the Owner has lived a long time in Italy and you can see from the exaggerated food!
I like to eat pizza in this place but I've tasted other things over time.
It's the 4th time I've been back here.

We absolutely love the Pink Cow! It doesn't matter what you order...it tastes amazing! My personal favorite is the Lobster Cocktail! I can not say enough about it. Please give it a try...it will not disappoint you! The owner and staff are wonderful. They serve everything from spring rolls to pizza to elegant lobster tails. Thank you for many great experiences!!

From the moment that I found this lovely rooftop spot I fell in love with it. While I Varadero I go several times both for lunch and dinner. The food is great and the service is impeccable. The staff go over and above for you. I am a huge fan of their cocktails, pizzas and pasta dishes. I can’t get enough of them. I stay across the road at the Hotel Club Tropical which makes this place a 2 minute walk door to door. I would suggest it to everyone.
