I love the drinks here! They make them with fresh ingredients, and use passionfruit in their Caipiroskas. I haven't tried the food yet, but it looks amazing. And ladies, they have the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in Varadero with fresh flowers in the stalls and counters. This place is the perfect little hangout.

A couple trips back I met a group of travels and while sitting at the lobby of my hotel the exited a taxi and were very please with their purchase, $2 chicken. I did not think much of it but on a trip to Varadero I know where it comes from, Calle 62!
If taking the double decker they drop you basically inform of it and you can enjoy an afternoon band and in the evening they lite the grill across the street to make their chicken.
I can not say enough how nice a cold beer, grill chicken and nice background music is. You have to check this place out, it an open air place that is covered. Gives great relief form the sun or little shower.
Calle 62 is now one of my must stop places.

Spend half an hour by day and grab a sandwich and a cerveza, and enjoy a comfortable spot to watch the vintage cars go by on the Main Street of Varadero. Walk around to nearby food and souvenir stands, or come back at night for the best live music in Varadero. Bands tend to start around 9, and go most of the night.

15 years ago, it was the place to dance and enjoy genuine cuban entertainment. Locals and strangers were forming one amazing crowd for a night of salsa dancing. Now, the vibe changed. Still a good place to enjoy music, drinks and dancing but something fades away. The people who knew La Fondue before will understand me. For the others, it worth it!

I have spent several nights dancing and listening to music at Calle 62. The club is great with the fun spilling into the road that is closed off. Everyone is having a great time, drinks are reasonably priced, service is good. I would recomment if you like the club scene

If you are looking for a fun active night of dancing to Cuban rythems then Calle 62 is the place for you. Dance and party the night away with Cubans and tourists alike in a lively and caliente atmosphere. Best time is around 10 pm when all the acton starts. Havana club is just down the street on Calle 62.

Great music, overflowing crowd, slow service, but who cares...you're in cuba! It's an open air bar and seems to be quite happening on the weekend. Stay at Cuatro Palmas resort for easy access!

Great little spot to dip in for a cold beer with a chance of live music. Beers are only $5 . They really cleaned up the street nicely

We visited here whilst in Cuba and the pina coladas were lovely at 300 pesos. This is worth a visit and also seems to come alive in the evening with lights and music.

We have been visiting Calle 62 for many years. This was our first trip back since the street and square renovations. Things have certainly changed, but the service and the staff are always wonderful.

Great food, great service, good value for your money. If you are staying at an all inclusive, this is a welcome change. Take a vintage car taxi back to your resort.
