After a tour of the island , on our carribean cruise . We stumbled upon this little gem .
We spent the afternoon here working our way through the cocktails and sampling there finest rum punch 🍹
There was live music too added bonus 🎸

Fun place, great drinks, convenient downtown Roseau. Although the featured menu shows exotic items there are also conventional too.
Local musician very good.
Variety of bush rum drinks, reasonably priced plus bottles to go. Waitress efficient and pleasant.
Prices very reasonable and healthy portions.
Tourist trap for sure, but fun!

Following an island tour we spent a hugely enjoyable 3 hours at Castle Rock. A brilliant band were playing creating a great vibe with the many cruisers in the pub. One of the staff got her maracas out with a 50 person conga the result. Fab afternoon and if on a cruise seek this place out, close to the ships.

Nice looking spot which fooled us into dining there. It took us nearly 20 minutes to place our order with the waitress. Then as we placed our orders a very loud band came in. The band is nice but just WAY too loud. If you’re hard of hearing, this is perfect for you. Likewise, if you’d like to lose your hearing or have your ears hurting while there and ringing after you leave, this is definitely the place for you. When we asked if the band could perhaps bring the volume down a bit, the waitress, “we don’t do that here.” Crazy, right? So we can’t have decent conversations and drinks. The band was 96-98 decibels loud
The food was subpar - just terrible. We were very hungry (because it took soooo long) so we ate the food.
Service staff - could be better. We tried to order more drinks and the first waitress looked me dead in the eyes and went elsewhere. The second came charging, “ your food has been placed to order there were some orders before yours so it’ll take a while.” Excuse me??? We eventually got more drinks but the mistake was staying and waiting for our food. My ears and stomach still remind me to this moment I’m typing this review almost 10 hours later!!!
Price - not worth it
Food - don’t bother. Awful. Also , not sure if I actually had chicken as it tasted and smelled weird.
Atmosphere - deafening.
Just don’t waste your time nor money. We feel robbed.
Tips to management: if you want people to spend more on drinks you should consider actually having the band play quieter so people can enjoy sitting in your restaurant. You will find that VISITORS/TOURISTS drink more when the atmosphere is fun yet relaxing and not leaving you with potential hearing loss. Train on your customer service as you are in a prime location to cruise ship tourists.

Decent but not exceptional food. Fine for a quick roti and a drink. Service was very lackluster - don't expect a genuine smile. We finished just as the band was starting and they sounded good though. Wish we had timed our lunch a little better.

I don't like to give negative opinions but I must warn: be careful with the bill and giving change. I was in a hurry, we had a meeting. It was only later that I realized that not only had the bill been inflated, but that I had been given back less than the tickets given. This serves as a lesson to me for the rest of our stay, during which we will not return to this establishment, that's for sure.

We can only comment on the beer, entertainment, Wi Fi and atmosphere. We heard live music coming from what appeared to be a burnt out building. After getting a beer at the bar, it didn't take all that long. We found a seat and got chatting to some others who were enjoying the beer and music. we spent about 90 mins here and found the band (duo) beer and atmosphere great. Unfortunately we found the Wi Fi a bit hit and miss. I would call in if it was just for a beer

The service was good, polite and friendly. The food was delicious. There were options for exotic foods as well as local dishes. The atmosphere is pretty touristy, safe, and fun. It’s not far from the cruise ship port in Roseau.

Returned to this bar as previously visited 2 years ago. Nice bar and good band playing . BUT really need to do do something about the rude staff. Do not dare ask them for anything as you will be greeted with a stoney faced ignorance. If you can find a smile in this place from the waiting staff best of look. This seems to be the norm in this resort .

We stopped in after our excursion. We enjoyed a couple drinks and listened to the musicians. It was a relaxing way to spend our afternoon before getting back on board. It is a very short walk to the cruise pier.

Done a trip around the island and could hear the bar from the pier head. We went in found a seat as the place was rocking. The band are loud and not the greatest singers but it was just brilliant. Drinks were easy to get as the waitress’s working very hard. The prices ain’t bad either. We had a burger wrap which was nice. A good way to spend a couple of hours.

We were so excited to see the Ruins Rock Cafe had re-opened and to be able to buy spices! Love the bird peppers. Its a "must-stop" whenever we are in Dominica.
