Wow wow wow. What a beautiful place. I love it mostly because they used what nature gave them "The Cave". While I was planning my trip to Dominican republic for my birthday I tried to find a restaurant where I could dine with my friend in other to celebrate. And Oh Boy thank God I chose this place. The experience... More

El meson de la cava is a famous restaurant site in the Park Mirador del Sur in a cave. Still keep the secret to surprise the customer. Now the facilities are more comfortable, including a Elevator. We were a big group,so we ask some entree, ceviche, salpicon sea food, fried octopus and croquet's. Main dish we asked for rib eyes,... More

This restaurant is inside a cave literally. Is gorgeous and an experience. Food talking, is good. The service is very attentive and great team work. I strongly recommend.

Amazing atmosphere, a real cave in the heart of the city, quality service, food and discreet but not superlative unique atmosphere is worth a visit prices high rank, choose typical or similar dishes to avoid fish or lobsters.

If you want to impress someone and take it down to a huge cave, this is the place to go. Its quite, dimmed, and green I might say. It falls short on food quality and service. And prices are off the chart. Wine list its ok, but once again prices are high.

This was my favourite restaurant due to its stunning natural beauty however when we went back I noticed there was a rat in one of the cave's caverns. I was orrified. The meals are delicious but I would never go back as that is unhygienic to say the least!

For a restaurant that is aiming at the upper end of the market this place was honestly disappointing. I know it is a real cave, and that the art and carvings on the walls are real, but the overall ambience felt more Disney creation. They've added lighting and tried to hide cabling in very unconvincing vines. Beyond the look though... More

I understand your poor appreciation of the job we have done hiding with platic vines (not electric cables ) but hoses, that gather the ever moving drips from the stactalictes. Very often (some times daily) we have to move the recipients that holds the water and all the hoses. We have not been able to find anything else to disguise... More

a different place located in underqround grute; at the sea shore; the place is 50 years old, well mantained and tended. Ask for the salmon on a wood tablet, is delicious; get it with grilled veggies.Coffee is fantastic.

I went back to this restaurant but this time on the terrace. I had the opportunity to have Gloria and Martes again. The service was fantastic. They recommended the brick oven steak. It was amazing. The meal was excellent and it was great pleasure to go back.
