What a spot! I visited as part of a group of travel professionals touring the Dominican Republic and we're known for being terribly hard to please. The food was great, the staff impressive but really it was the wonderful atmosphere that did it for me....More

Just finished lunch at Pate Palo. Overall it was excellent and the goat rocks it. The avocado onion rings, mushrooms and then goat (chivo) all matched with icy cold beer and great service just made it a treat! Highly recommended!More

Great food and atmosphere. The apple crisp appetizer is amazing. Our family of four all had different main courses and they were all incredible. Cool part is this place is located right by Christopher Columbus's home. Highly recommend visiting both.More

Thank you Pamela. I tried another question, but I guess I didn't do it correctly. I am online, I will make a reservation for 8 PM this Saturday. Is there outdoor and indoor seating and where is it best to sit? We will be leaving from New York Saturday morning.

People generally prefer to be outside for the beautiful view to the plaza and Alcázar de Colón, but we have indoor tables also. Let me know where would you prefer and your name and last name for the reservation.

It is not required. You can come and wait a couple of minutes at the bar if there isnt any table available at the time. But preferably you can make your reservation in case you don't want to wait.

It might be a creation by the chef at Pat'e Palo as Ropa Vieja is Cuban. The restaurant's food is fusion style.
