I’m from New York. I’m not an obnoxious American as it has seemed to be to everyone I’ve walked past at my hotel. But, my standards for food are higher and I hope you can trust me to tell you what is and isn’t good. Even though this restaurant is in the casino and not part of the all inclusive, I swear it is objectively the best food here. And, the prices are reasonable. On top of that, you also get your credit discount on these already reasonable prices so my 34$ meal with two appetizers and an entree comes out to $6.80 as I pay 20% of what it costs. Hope this was useful.

Went to YouYu for lunch after a long day of excursions in Punta Cana , our waitress Beatriz was very help and attentive. The food was excellent and reminded me of NY Chinese food, Chef Nelson is a master of his craft. 10/10 would recommend.

Youyu offers pretty good Asian food at the Hard Rock casino. The place is nicely kept and the food overall was good. I had spring rolls for starters and Pad Thai for my main meal - the paid Thai was slightly salty. I also try their Oseki dry spritz which was surprisingly good.
Price for the meal was what to be expected at the Hard Rock (a bit pricy) - total $55 for one person.
My server Yafresi and the chef Eudy were both nice and service oriented. I would be back if given the chance.

Youyu is a gem inside the Hard Rock Punta Cana. Many of the included restaurants in the resort fail to deliver bold flavors, but Chef Puya did a great job creating familiar and delicious Asian cuisine. Angel provided excellent service as well. We ordered the chicken gyoza, chili oil wontons, Kung Pao chicken, chicken fried rice and General Tao’s chicken. Would recommend to anyone staying here. In the end, the biggest win was getting to eat a great meal in a quieter environment than the hustle and bustle in the main resort area.

"Daybinsom was an amazing waiter at YOUYU Restaurant! He went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. He was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations and was always there to refill our drinks or answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Daybinsom to anyone who visits YOUYU Restaurant. Thank you for making our night so special!" The chef Freddy prepared outstanding dishes!!! Everything was amazing!

The restaurant is fantastic, it has a small menu but VERY good. Super clean and surprisingly fast service. We waited less than 10 min to have our food served. And the staff is super friendly and not pushy. This place will be out weekly getaway. You can also sit in front of the kitchen to see how the meal is prepared. 1000% recommended

Yafreisis is a wonderful host , I have been here many times . This is the first time I met her she was perfect she always was attentive , considerate and helpful . I really enjoyed her service here. Jose cooked the food perfectly i look forward to enjoying his food again as I live here in Cana rock , it’s close and very delicious I will return again and again . Thank you to the bar staff too for the wonderful mojito:)

After a week here at the Hard Rock Punta Cana we got tired of the included food choices & decided to try Youyu. What a pleasure Yafresi our waitress was & the food was great too. I had the pad Thai nice large shrimp my boyfriend had the kung Pao chicken as his meal. We shared spring rolls (delicious) & a nice large won ton soup. Wish we tried here earlier in our trip prices were reasonable & overall just a great experience. Check it out if your visiting Hard Rock Casino they're located in the back by the table games.

We’re from California, we’re 67 years old. We’ve eaten at countless Asian restaurants in our lifetime, this is by far one of the best we’ve eaten at. Food was superb. Luis and Fredy were our waiter and chef. If you’re ever in Punta Cana I strongly recommend you try this place. Prices were very reasonable, and my friend said the ice tea was the bomb digity. LOL!

This low key restaurant tucked away in a corner past the Asian Poker tables was such a delightful surprise. My Neice and I sat at the bar station and were welcomed by two friendly servers. Chef Josesito, behind the station, provides service with a smile. A simple quick dinner ended like a family friends house dinner after they’ve fed you delicious food. They’ll be seeing me again for sure!

Yes, you have to pay but it is worth the money. Of our 7 night stay, we ended up here 4 times. It's open until 4 am and made the perfect late night meal. The dumplings in chili oil were the group favourite. I don't think there was a single dish that we ordered that we were disappointed with. They were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and preferences to the best of their ability.
Junior Padilla waited on us every night we were there. Wonderful service, warm welcoming presence.
Definitely recommend checking out Youyu!

Perla was an excellent host and explained the menu options to us. My husband is Jamaican and does not eat pork or any red meat. She listened carefully to our needs and provided the best alternatives. Chef Nicholas prepared our food to point. We were very please and highly recommend this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I loved this restaurant. Very pretty inside. Our server Luis was SO friendly and helpful. Chef Puya prepared one of the best meals of our vacation. We had the Pad Thai, Curry Maylasia brisket which were delicious but our favorite was the Moo Ping. Thanks so much for a great experience :)

This is a must-visit at the Hard Rock Resort!!!!
Every time I visit I try something new on the menu, and it becomes my new favourite! Must try the pad Thai and the Vietnamese Pho!!!
Merly is an amazing waitress and Jose is absolutely amazing in the kitchen!
Do not leave the hard rock without grabbing a bite here!

Youyu was amazing!
Beatriz and Nelson took great care of us!
Amazing service.
The food was amazing! Well seasoned and tasteful!
This restaurant is located inside of the hotel in the casino.
It’s not included in the all inclusive, but well worth it!
Not too expensive either!
