We come for lunch at this lively cafeteria, at least once every annual visit to Grenada. We really enjoy the choice of tasty local dishes, meats, fish, vegetables and salads. You can have as little or as much as you want, and the bill at the end is always surprisingly low. With a couple of Caribs, lunch on the deck... More

Overlooking the cruise ships, I had been meaning to try this place for ages. Nice balcony, its serve yourself, cafeteria style. Huge inside restaurant. Local food, most of which seems to taste very sweet. Lots of vegetables. Best to be very hungry.

Went to the Creole Shack on the first morning of our holiday. Was totally confused by the array of dishes on offer so asked one of the ladies serving to explain. She told us the various prices, different sections and what each dish was. She was really helpful! I had rice and beans, pumpkin, carrots, green banana salad and honey... More

I always grab lunch here when in St. George's. Affordable, tasty, and Caribbean (macaroni pie, beans, meat, provisions, fish, salads etc.). Nothing fancy (like a very small food court) but good food at great prices. Outdoor seating option as well, which gives a view of a jetty and the sea.

If you want to try the local cuisine, then head here. A short walk from the cruise terminal. It is upstairs and there are mostly locals. Its a cafeteria style where you pick your meat and sides and pay for each. It's very reasonable. The mac and cheese has lots of local spices and is amazing!

This restaurant 'Creole Shack' is above above the supermarket (Andall & Associates) so you basically go in the supermarket and go up the stairs on the left. Here is where you will find most locals. They have a massive selection but you will have to queue as it is very busy. The venue has overhead fans and a bar so... More

This restaurant serves true island food as evidenced by the 99% local clientele. The servings are generous and everything I've tried there has been excellent. My only caution is to remember that your eyes may be bigger than your stomach. Sitting at the bar for hours will not change the fact that this is a self service cafeteria style restaurant.... More

Finding genuine Grenadian food for local prices with the locals is the holy grail for anyone visiting the islands. Whenever I am in Grenada especially St George's I always make a point to visit here several times. The great thing about Creole Shack is there are no airs and graces, no attempts to detract from their key market. As such... More

While it may not be a first choice for food given the location and ambiance- upstairs a supermarket, it is a place to visit if you want good, tasty local cuisine. The prices are quite reasonable and the quantity of food you get is more than enough.

Very Good place to have a meal since I like to see what am getting on my plate especially when it comes to food . I really love the 3 Beans Salad. For no fault of the management a few patrons tried to sneak to the front of the serving line and were ' put back into their places' by... More
