The Pelican Grill restaurant has been my favorite for over 40years...and is a must visit on every trip to Jamaica. Their fruit Melba (dessert) is the best.

A friend of our son recommended the Pelican. Our food was good and we were both seated and served quickly. Really liked the sweet and sour chicken. You have to try one of their milkshakes..pretty darn good.

This is a nice, family-style restaurant on "The Strip" and was a change from the resort spots throughout the area. My wife and I had stuffed and broiled lobster with tropical spring rolls and conch chowder. Note: the chowder is spicy, so make sure you have plenty of water or Red Stripe to wash it down. For dessert I had... More

My wife had the curry vegetable combination and I ordered escoveitched whole snapper. Snapper was superb in flavor and served with vegetables. We loved the restaurant decor and atmosphere. Their drink selections included tropical mixes; service was excellent and staff friendly and knowledgable.

The fried shrimp was great. Really, really fresh. The service was good as well. Got some really nice pictures outside of the restaurant as the sun was setting. Nice place to dine at for sure.

Mostly specializes in seafood and the "local" fare. An interesting place, seemed like a family run operation that isn't in a hurry. Lunch took about 1.5 hours, not that there's anything wrong with that. You need to realize you're on Island time. The menu was just a little pricey for lunch, but it just depends on what you order.
