Where do I start...well I walked in to find one member of staff asleep with her head on the cash register. I then walked to the bar, got a menu and ordered food and a soft drink. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries. What I got was those cheap yellow nuggets you find in the frozen food section in... More

A place to eat at! Located right in the downtown area Mama Marley's is close to the crafts market, shopping center and the cruise ship terminal. A walk up the floor and there you are in a quaint little restaurant. Small, separate bar, open kitchen, good aromas. Famous for their jerk chicken with rice and jerk chicken burger. The staff... I visited this restaurant as part of an inland excursion from a cruise. There were about 10 of us, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was very good and value was ok. The waitress was less than enthusiastic about taking our orders and her attitude was very aloof. I certainly wasn't expecting the red carpet treatment but... More

The food at Mama Marley's restaurant was very overpriced for what we received. The waitress had nothing written down she simply came to our table with a calculator and added up what we ordered and then told us what the total bill was. We were shocked. We never saw a price for anything we ordered. But we still didn't expect... More

And the music is about all that was great! Food was ok and not so wonderful. Every drink I asked for they seemed to be out of the mix to make it. I had a jerk chicken sandwich and a Pepsi and total with tip was $30. I'm far from being cheap when on vacation but that was way too... More

Not if we at the wrong time, but the tencion was very bad, the bad food and the cost of food (caesar salad and ackee and salt fish) 2 beers a bottle of water, very expensive JMD 5,600. Should rename it to bad mama Marley, is also a discucion between the waitress and bartender, and suddenly began to withdraw all... More

We had chicken tenders and fries. They were probably frozen and fried but they were decent. I'm not a big fan of the resort food.

The food was authentic and very good. We had to wait because we were told there was something wrong with the kitchens, so the wait was kind of annoying. Our server was very nice and apologetic about the wait. The price for the Jerk Chicken was a little steep for the amount we received. But overall was a very good... More
