Frozen veg re-heated, stodgy spaghetti, unnecessary breads and salad we didn't ask for, flavoured butters, dry chicken, aggressive staff, reusing napkins, waitress doubles up as hotel reception & owner, very overpriced. Again, I've no idea how this place gets any positive reviews??? The chef is aggressive - after giving the waitress some negative feedback about one of our meals the... More

This is the third vitriolic review by these guests. We have already responded in length to the first review and will be responding to the second review in detail. We therefore do not want to keep repeating ourselves. Just to say that we hope that now, after three reviews we hope that these guests can simply move on. More

We were so impressed with our Valentine's Day Dinner that we decided to visit Mille Fleurs Restaurant a little over a month later to celebrate our 1st anniversary. We were once again blown away by the food, the atmosphere and the staff's attention to detail. I'm not sure how they do it but these guys are in a league of... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Mille Fleurs for Valentine's Day. I've been to countless restaurants over the years & this was by far the best! We were seated in a secluded area & except for the occasional visits from the waitress we were completely left alone. We sipped on exceptionally-made cocktails & later were... More

By the reviews, we were expecting a five star experience, but instead, the food was only just ok. Set menu was not what we were expecting at all. I had to send back my fish because the garlic butter they served was "not up to hotel standards". Doesn't the chef taste the food first? Meh. Luckily, my Dad ordered to... More

We are somewhat perplexed by this review. The two dishes mentioned are not served at our restaurant. In addition we do not have a set menu. We offer our guests a daily changing menu which means that our hotel guests never have the same meal, even when they stay for a week or more. This menu offers a choice of... More

We had lunch. The food was superb - Home-made bread, a hearty soup made with fresh vegetables and spiced with herbs from their garden with a delicious salad, also home-grown. This is not a fast-food service. The staff are warm and welcoming and you never feel hurried. Definitely a not-to-be-missed and quite affordable taste of Jamaica.

We totally enjoyed the food and the environment. Nice wine list and great selection of seasonal foods. Farm to table set up.

My wife & I visited Mille Fleurs recently during our stay in Port Antonio. It's certainly off the beaten track, but worth the visit. The setting is lovely (you feel almost like you're eating on the veranda of a private house rather than in a hotel restaurant) and the food was the best we experienced during our week in the area.... One approaches the Mockingbird Hill hotel by a steep driveway that offers a commanding view of the Trident Castle and the coastline to end in a shaded parking nook, to be greeted by a sign that reads "Welcome to Mockingbird Hill, your home in Jamaica". Fact is, it does feel that way. There is no formality on entering the hotel,... More

This is my favorites restaurant. Our meal was excellent, but there was a mix up when we sat down, and we had no waiter for a lengthy time. finally I mentioned it to a staff, and the situation was rectified. Our table was in a crossfire of noise, and it was round and big, so I couldn't hear my friends.... More

I'm not sure what to rate higher, the food or the service! They were both brilliant. Great choices for veggies and non-veggies. We were going to eat elsewhere, but we honestly didn't want to miss out on what might be on the menu for that night, so we didn't go elsewhere. Just wonderful.
