We went to Dickie's pretty late in the night, and even though no one was there, he opened the place for us. It's on the side of the road and unassuming so watch out for it! The inside is beautiful. Its quite quirky, a little like being on a Victorian ship - unlike anywhere we had ever been before. He... More

This place is hard to describe - I have never been to a restaurant like this before. Glued to a seaside cliff, the location is the top draw. Dickie himself is a close second, a sweet gentle man who delights in making people happy. The food was very good, especially the lobster and veggie omelet. The meal is seven courses... More

This place has an eclectic atmosphere but the food is just average at best. The quantity of food is large but not the best for the price.

Myself and my boyfriend booked a table in this restaurant after reading rave reviews in my Jamaica Lonely Planet guide book. We arrived for an evening meal in the dark so it was difficult to see where we were. The restaurant is essentially a very rickety wooden building hanging off the side of a cliff with a view of the... went there without reservation but luckily this was no problem. Had the menu (you can only have menu of 3-4 course and get to choose the main ingredient of the main course). Well prepared. Especially liked the omelette type dish that was the starter. Very quick service.

The food wasn't what would traditionally be rated 5 star, but everything was cooked just for us. The restaurant slopes towards the sea (as do the place settings!) but there's a dilapidated charm and Dickey himself is a kind and interesting gentleman.

This restaurant looks like a shed on the side of a cliff - and it is. It's quirky, unconventional and the food is wonderful. We just turned up without pre-ordering and were treated to four courses of endless food for $35 a head. Well worth a visit.
