Reviewed yesterday NEW

I had a full house veggie burger with fries and an ice cold red stripe....what could be better than this? The burger is one of the best things I have eaten -so fresh and tasty that I would go back just for that. We had dinner here as well and it was nothing special so I would skip this and... More

Walked to Woody's from GeeJam on my honeymoon to grab a burger with my wife. When I got back I wasn't feeling so great. I'd think twice before visiting Woody's unless you have some spare time on your hands for food poisoning...

Especially recommend the veggie full house burger, a (vegetarian) burger made out of plantains and calallo (Jamaican spinach). Ask for it spicy! And get the ginger beer.

Woody's in a long established institution in Portland - situated in a small village called Drapers. Not far from both Frenchmans Cove Hotel and Mockingbird Hill Hotel. A great treat just to go in there and have a drink. Burgers are readily available to order but if you want a full main course then you need to order a day... More

I had lunch at Woody's in early April at the suggestion of several local people. The burgers were great and served up with a smile. It was a fun place and nice to try something different outside of the hotel. Most importantly, the signs/sayings hanging all around put a smile on your face. How wonderful to put so much positive... Costumer service was poor, burger was really good. Had the plantain full house burger with fries which was delicious, my partner had the cheese burger which is tasty. The plantain full house burger is a must have, would definitely go back just for the burger.

Food is VERY tasty! Burgers are not large so if you're used to those massive American burgers it would be good to order 2. It is economical enough to do so anyway. Get a full-house (vegan or beef) burger and you'll be happy!

Beautiful rural restaurant but with limited parking. Serves a variety of burgers including vegetarian...small but tasty and very reasonably priced.

I'm from Portland, Jamaica, but currently live in Arizona. I head back to my hometown usually 1-2 times each year and always have a mental list of all the food I have to eat before I head back to the U.S. Of course, Woody's jerk burgers & fries are always somewhere on the top of that list. I'm a big... More

The cheeseburgers were good and very reasonably priced but if you're really hungry you may need 2 or 3. The customer service could be better as the server seemed a bit unapproachable and somewhat bothered by requests.
