I chose to eat here based on a recommendation from one of my friends who had traveled to San Juan and happened to eat here. That shows how strong the word of mouth is for this restaurant. I loved the Veggie Mofongos here. Also, the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it especially if you are a vegetarian like... More

I was recommended to by several people to try this restaurant as I wanted to try some local cuisine. I was in the area about 15 minutes before the restaurant opened and there was already a line. The food was great! I tried the mofongo, delicious. And, very reasonably priced. Check this place out but get there early!

We were referred to this restaurant by every local we talked to and we were so excited to try it. The first night we never received our appetizer and our dishes were not very good, I had the Chicken Stuffed Eggplant and it was really more like strips of chicken laying on strips of eggplant. My husband had the Paella... More

After a walking tour of the area, we returned to this café that our tour guide had pointed out. It is a small place on the square of town with limited seating. Although it was well after the lunch time, we had to wait a very long time to get our food. But, it was so worth the wait. Mufongo... More

Restaurant was recommended by a cab driver, we were were not disappointed. Host at the door said it would be 45 mins and took our number to call when they were ready for us. Had the best Mojitos and mofongo in town. Nice prices and friendly staff. A must if in Old San Juan. Right across from Plaza de Colon.

Small little place with excellent food at a decent price. The pina colado and the monfongo with beef was delicious!

came here on a recommendation from a local, but found it to be quite a disappointing experience. the first round of "special" drinks that the waiter recommended because there were several puerto rican rums was almost certainly straight up punch. the next drink, after mentioning, tasted like straight alcohol. the fried red snapper was very over cooked and dry, the... This is the first place I go to - when I get to old San Juan! My favorite dish is the Chicken with garlic sauce in a yucca crust. The restaurant is centrally located in Old San Juan - close to the square and Fort. After my lunch - I always walk to the fort, and enjoy the amazing views... More
