My husband and I just visited this restaurant. We ordered the Ottoman casserole and Iskendar kebab dishes. Both were very delicious. Unfortunately, the service was awful here. We added a side of the bread which we read on Trip Advisor was a must try but we never got it. Service was slow and the staff was not attentive. In addition,... More

I was hesitant to eat Middle Eastern in San Juan.but this place is solid. Very authentic bread and hummus and babaganoush. Had chicken and lamb kabobs and they were very good. I would eat here again. Bear in mind it's kind of tucked down the alley of the shopping stores next to the Starbucks. A little tricky to find. But... More

Of course, most of the dishes are mediterranean, arabic and can be found in Egyptian and Middle-Eastern restaurants. Howver, this one does things the turkish way. The seasonings are exquisite, the atmosphere authentic and the service closely attentive. The music and noise levels are conducive to business discussions.

If you love Turkish food, eat here. If you have never tasted any Turkish food, eat here. Eat here! We visit PR every winter and eat here almost every evening. The rest of the year I try, with only moderate success, to emulate the chef's recipes at home. The chef-owner is a genius at the aromatic Turkish spicing that makes... More

Paid a visit thanks to Tripadvisor. Polite staff, quick in place. Did not serve food at same time. My food was average ++, my wife found her meal really good. Did not really catch the atmosphere, somehow. I believe price is on the high side.

First, they give very large portions. Unfortunately I think they are too salty, with cilantro (yuk, not belonging in Turkish food). The price is high for this food in most of the world, but OK for Condado.

Hello! We are really sorry that we did not meet your taste preferences. Also, in general, large portions are not a problem for most people. I wanted to clarify that we do not use cilantro to season our food (although the cilantro is delicious!), since it is not part of the Turkish cuisine as you very well pointed out. We... More

Interesting to find a Turkish restaurant in the middle of the Condado district, but it was so convenient to the Marriott hotel and our kids loved it. Delicious food, great staff, a great alternative if you are getting sick of Caribbean fare.

Husband and I had a delicious light dinner at Ali Baba. We shared a variety of apps- hummus, cheese on the grill (yum!), red lentil soup, Greek salad - all wonderful. We're not big meat eaters and there's a lot of lamb on the menu but we faired just fine. Next time I'll try the baklava. Service was very attentive... More

Amazing Mediterranean cuisine. Loved the mix of appetizers, and enjoyed The Iskender vertically shaved lamb with rice. The staff were attentive and never had to ask for a single thing. Full glasses of water and clean napkins at every turn. Chef came to our table to make sure all went well. Don't miss this place on your trip to San... More

I went to Ali Baba with my girlfriend she had Adana Garlic with Yogurt sauce it was Amazing I live in New York and this is by far the best Turkish restaurant you can find. The owner and chef Suleyman Yilmaz introduced himself to us, he was very helpful and told us he has 40 years experience. Try the hummus... More
